Don't check the comments too often but since you're talking about leasing in Columbia County, my cousins, siblings, and I own mineral rights on land just north of Waldo (we sold the land about 6 years ago). 3-T Explorations out of Wichita Falls leased from us shortly thereafter and surprisingly, just sent a renewal of that lease this last month. In checking with the Arkansas Oil & Gas Commission, 3-T has only been permitted for one well in the Waldo Field just a mile east of where our mineral rights are. We found it interesting that they were securing a renewal on our rights since there has been absolutely no activity from them on our lease. Do you find the renewal unusual and possibly something to hope for on our part? Thanks. Karen (Jackson) Goudelock, Shalimar, FL
