They have to search the title all the way back to the first sale ever. That can be very time consuming and tedius. They also have to get an attorney skilled in title oppinions to clear it as good. They not only have to search re, sales of the land but also for potential mineral leases from long ago. I doubt there is anything wrong with the title just be patient and it will come. I hope that helps.
