I don't know much about your area, but it sounds like that area MAY end up being much better than where all of the present focus is. If you haven't read up on some of the information that ShaleGeo posted in the past, you may want to ask him directly if it has been delete from when he left the site.
You may also want to go to the search box in the upper right hand corner of the page and enter in Messanger or Natch. parish.
