Jim71006 in what part of Webster Parish are the landmen working?
sections 23, 24 and 25 I believe were released in Webster Parish, I wonder if they released anyone else? If so I wish they would post.
Sec 23, 24, 25 of what twnshp/Range?
I am not sure about the township and range.
I have land HBP in T18N R10W, but to a maximum depth. They ahve been request, per the lease to rlease the rest of the land and other land where ther is no production. Lease expired a few years ago. I have not heard from J.W., only read on this site that releases were file around August 20th. Thought I was give them until first week of September to get me something I writing.

I am also interested T18N R9W and T17N R10W.

Based on some state records I saw at Mineral Board site J.W. is hoding by producution at least three wells--2 in Section 26 T18N R10W and one well in Section 35 of T18N R10W. I thbink they are Cotton Valley. Drilled in 2002, 2003 and 2004.
JACKFORK LAND INC contacted me as well, but didn't respond to my counter. I see that they have filed a lease in TR 31-19-9, last friday. Their offer to me was 3000 for 3 years.
I know of someone who got a similar offer and the offer was later withdrawn with no explanation. It was from a different company, but the same section.

Things might be slowing down as prices drop and they need to drill to prove they are right.
Can anyone give names of the landmen working for Petrohawk in Webster Parish? We own land in N. Webster and heard this past weekend, from a reliable source, that things are about to start happening for that part of the parish.
AnnaBelle, There is lots going on in north webster in my vicinity, which is essentially on Ar. line. All the activity I am aware of is drilling Smackover and Haynesville sand formations. XTO and Marathon are main players drilling right now. You can be assured they will be thoroughly testing the shale portions of Haynesville formation. I know that XTO has at least four locations near me for which they have paid damges for drilling locations. What Township and Range is your land in?
We own land in Section 25----Can I just contact Petrohawk to find out who the landmen are?
AnnaBelle
I tried to talk to them but they never returned my call, and they (Petrohawk) have land leased on 2 sides of me.
XTO is the MOST ACTIVE driller in Webster (north)
