And spot prices weren't too far behind closing at 5.90. Looks like we're having that cold winter we're hoping so much for.
I can validate that. It's cold up here. I'll send more money next month.
With futures at $6.00 and spot prices at $5.90, I suppose we can expect to get $4-$4.50 for our gas the way it has been going with these operators, especially Chesapeake.
depends on location of your well and what the Henry Hub price is during 1st week of month. My gas contract price sets on 4th of each month for that month in east texas fields. Price was $4.5 in december so my check received in Feb. 2010 (Dec. gas)will be based on $4.5. If gas stays around $6 early Jan. 2010 I'll get about$5.25 ( $6-transportation-middle man-other things= ~ $5.25). If you are in La. closer to the Hub price is closer to $5.50-5.75 transportation shorter distant.if price $6 spot price early part of month. Your prices with CHK like most are set for month.
Funny I'm liking cold weather more these days.
It sure is cold here. We were without power for 8 days do to the big snow store. Came back on 12-26.
