Has anyone had any interest shown from this company either in LA or TX?

Do you have any idea who Griffith Land Services may be working for if any?
Griffith Land Services leasing for Petrohawk where?
R&O Energy is also working for Petrohawk. 80)
Thanks, all. I wasn't aware that they're tied to Chesapeake. I am aware they're affiliated with Petrocasa Energy.

I'm wondering specifically whether they are acquiring leases here, whether anyone has already signed with them. And, if so, the operator that the leases were/are assigned to.

Thanks, Jay. I remember that tidbit, but I'm sure some could be remined and newbies might not know.

Have you heard of them actively seeking leases, know of anyone who has signed with them? I'm really more interested in their activity rather than how they conduct business.

An override doesn't come out of nor is it tacked onto the mineral owners royalty.
Thanks for the clarification, NA. Are you specifically speaking about Pangaea's leases or leases in general?

Would you also know whether Pangaea is actively seeking leases in the HS area, either in TX or LA?

All leases. A NPRI or non participating royalty interest comes out of a lessor's royalty. (non participating because they do not own executive rights) An ORRI or over riding royalty interest comes out of lessee's revenue interest.

I have heard of Pangaea but couldn't tell you where in Haynesville they were at.

Hope the info helps
j - Do you have any idea whether this company is actively leasing here (as in NW LA and/or NE/E TX)?

appreciate the input - 80)
There should more than likely be an override agreement but probably only after the broker hits a certain % leasehold in the section then they can start dipping their hands in it.

Pangaea without a doubt is part of Petrocasa and back in the early days of the Haynesville (Feb-June of 2008) they had a very short, failed run with Petrohawk leasing in the urban environment against TCD. I'm surprised to hear them back in the game especially under CHK.
Thanks, Billy. Leasing for Petrohawk doesn't surprise me. Any idea about the status of the local office, is it still here & open?

thanks 80)
If they are leasing for Petrohawk, shouldn't Petrohawk's name be on the lease or on record somewhere recorded at the courthouse that can be checked by landowner?
