I believe that from looking at SONRIS (Well Serial # 240069) this well has been completed 12/5/09 but I'm not sure. My question is how long after completion should we expect to wait for any royalty payments to start showing up?

Per Sonris, Serial #240069 has finished drilling but has not been completed. I think there has been some activity at the well site this week so they may be working on completing the well now, but I cannot say for certain. Once they actually "turn the well to sales" (Watch Sonris for this wording) it will take several months before royalty checks will be issued.
Thank u, Buck. Sincerely.

Thanks all for your comments, sorry I am just now responding but I have been working for the last few weeks.
They are fracing this well now.
I spoke to a friend today who's leased to Chesapeake in DeSoto (Converse). He said they're also drilled, waiting on pipeline.

thanks again 80)
They have brought a rig back out and started drilling again? Does anyone know what this means?
The first rig drilled the vertical portion of the wellbore. This rig is drilling the lateral.
Was told by someone on the rig this was a new well. The lateral was going in section 21.
Victor, the following well will be drilled into Section 21 from Section 16 and the production will be allocated to the Section 21 mineral owners.

Ken, yes the rig is on a completely new well that was spudded May 14th.
