Is anyone familiar with Cypress Energy? They want to lease portions of Sections 25, 26 and 36 Township 16 South Range 22 West. . Terms are $150 and 3/16ths. Mechanics are you send them 2 signed witnessed notarized copies and when they figure out their title information, they will send you a check.  No particular interest is included in the lease and no time frame for when you will be paid.

I have a vague recollection that when Lake Columbia was created, a well had to be plugged. Does anyone know if that is correct?

Yes that overlay will provide you some useful data, but be careful because there are some huge errors in it. For example, on the ground on my tracts there are wells with names that have been there for 40 to 60 years, but the database has an entirely different name and operating company listed for that well. The legal description and GPS coordiantes appear to be correct. In some cases, I know those well names in the database are several miles from the location indicated on the map. Guess wrong location information and / or well name was entered years ago. I notified AOGC by giving them specific well names and GPS coordinates over a year ago, but nothing has been corrected.
