Time from permit to location

How long does a firm have from the time of permit to the time they have to drill? Petrohawk held a permit hearing in January 2011, but there is no location yet. (DeSoto S36 T12N R14W).

Most permits are 6 months.

Can be for 6 or 12 months.  You can look up the well serial number in SONRIS Classic and view the actual permit.  Then you'll know.
