Permalink Reply by dbob on Condensate rich, and potentially oil at least in a few areas. I get the idea that some of the seismic done for the Haynesville/Bossier may have identified a few good areas.
A lot of drilling was done at the county line several years ago but the new interest is further south and east so it will be interesting to see what they find. Devon has had a couple of pretty good wells with considerable condensate, so far.

The other help is the operators can see ML shows when they drilled the Haynesville/Bossier Shale wells in the area.

I am curious about the efforts further south & east by operators (unknown in this area... Harding Co. and W&T Offshore) who appear to be drilling on shallower intervals of acreage being held by (leased to) EOG and EnCana (in the HA), specifically along the Sabine/San Augustine county line.

The James, in my opinion, was going to be a bigger play until it was overshadowed by the Haynesville.
