Has anyone else recieved a letter from Ottinger Hebert, L.L.C. Attorneys at Law on behalf of Eagle Oil and Gas Co. I really do not understand all the legal wording, but it seems to me they are trying to force pool land in western sabine parish from the map they sent with it. It states there will be a meeting at the Best Western in Natchitoches at 10:30 a.m. Feb. 11th. Once again I do not understand exactly what it means, just wondering if someone could help me out with it. I can fax it to someone or try and post online.

I did not receive a letter/map about this but am interested in seeing it, would you please post online.
Would you tell us where your property is located and do you know if any permits have been issued or wells drilled near you?
Just have small acreage in Noble (sabine parish). Do not know about any permits. Heard they may be drilling a well just north of Converse. I will try and post letter asap.
I have been receiven letter/map several years from attorneys and what mine state is if you are in a section that is to be drill and you are not leased you will be force pool I think that is quite standard wording

Didn't LA pass a law last year increasing the size of the units because of the horizonal drilling?
Does anyone know if Eagle Oil holds any leases in this area now? Also what happened to the units Shell was forming in the area?

Under-the-lake owners better get to dusting off those deeds!!
Units can be of any size. as long as they are approved by LOC.
Shouldn't everyone in these sections get a letter in order for this to be legal or is this a good thing. Please shed some light, anyone.
I am sure the lease owners they could identify, got letters but as long as a majority of the lease holders got letters, it is legal.
That's what i don't understand!! My land is in Noble away from the lake and it is unleased. Did i get it by mistake??
It looks like they want everything from DeSoto Parish line along Toledo Bend and over to the the acreage Shell is/has unitized. Check out this site which is a previous discussion on forced pooling. You can check for others by typing in Forced Pooling in the Search box at the very top right on the main page.
