I live out on Peason rd in plainview community but i am very close to peason.what is going on out here. i cant find out anything.any help would be appreciated!
yep, I held out about three days but could not sleep knowing I was offered 4 k/ acre for land in T 10 N R 11 W.
I signed afraid I may get nothing. I would have liked more, but Chesapeake is leveraged to the hilt. A week after I signed with Chesapeake Shell's leasing agent contacted me. He would not tell me what he would have offered.
i think that you made a good choice by signing. no i am not a landman.i have land in T 9 N R 11 W and signed last week. got my signing bonus in the bank and just waiting for them to start drilling. I wish everyone would sign so they could really start drilling alot. from what i have found out, alot of people have signed so it shouldnt be long. i was told by a good source that they want to start drilling at several locations in P. hill in August.
West towards Mitchell or East North East towards Ajax and I49?
I would guess towards Mitchell..... but please clarify.
I know of people who had bank drafts that are now cleared and $4000.00/acre cash in the bank from P Hill area.
Kelly,
I also have land in Peason and have been watching very close. They have not got this far south but all indications are that they will. It may take some time so we need to be patient especially as far out as we are. I personally feel that we are going to have some smaller companies try to lease the outside edges of the play first before the price goes up. I have heard that someone is trying to organize a group in the Plainview area. From what I have read, I would be skeptical of the people that are willing to shop your land and charge a percentage of the lease and sometimes the royalties. We would all be better off waiting as long as we can but that is going to be very hard to do. I will let you know as soon as I hear anything at all concerning Plainview and Peason.
Thank you very much JW! there are alot that i know out this way who have been wondering if it would get this far.and yes i would appreciate it if you would let me know when you hear something. Thanks again
WELLS MUST BE DOING GOOD. JUST HEARD AN OFFER FROM AUDUBON OF 10,000 PER/ACRE AND 25% OFF HWY 120 A FEW MILES OUT OF ZWOLLE.
does anyone have a contact name and number for the Audubon agent in the zwolle area? have around 400 acres available right off 120 a few mile out of zwolle. Please keep posted on any offers you hear around that area.
tj06--

I am with a group that was formed in zwolle and the lease negotiators we have used are doing an excellent job for us down here. They charge 5% of the bonus and nothing else. They seem to have good connections as per who they have gotten interest from. Let me know if u would like some contact info
Offer made 7/23 T9 - S18 by CHK $16,000/ac and 25%. Also for T9 S30 -- by Shell and CHK &12,500/ac. Two weeks prior, Shell offered $10,000/ac a 25% for acreage in the neighborhood. S30 could be considered on the western edge of the Big Woods -- just west of San Miguel. S18 just about a mile south of Oak Grove and highway 174.
Martin,
You stated T9-S18, but what is the range? And was the contact made by Shell or by one of their leasing companies, like Audubon O & G?
