They performed some sesmic test in 29 last fall. It appears they are staking out a pad in 29 just west of Grand Cane on 3015. I understand there is also some negotiations going on regarding drill site for 28. Seems as though it may be occuring sooner than later. I don't see anything on Sonris.
We are hbp in Section 28. We received a Pre-Application Notice 9/08 to "revise rules of procedure of its intention to apply for a public hearing etc. to create a single drilling and production unit for the explortion and production of gas and condensate from the Haynesville Zone, Reservoir A, in the Benson Field, DeSoto Parish.. The map that came with the notice indicated four well sites. We have not received any other updates for well permits etc. Any news would be helpfuf. Thanks
We are Section 21 and 22 of 14N14W and we have gotten the same. The application has been submitted for 2 additional drilling and production units for CV RA SUQQ and CV RA SURR. Also application submitted for 5 additional drilling production units for HA RA SUV thru HA RA SUZ.
These applications were made and paid for on January 28, 2009. So we are just waiting patiently.
We are in 7 of 14n14w and got those notices and had the meetings in Oct.. Still no word on a well. Encana will be the operator in our section. Is Encana doing those sections also
Yep, we signed with Encana too. These were more recent than October. I got those too. These were in January.
I have heard that Encana has only 5 rigs working in Haynesville now that gas prices are so low. With 5 rigs they won't drill many sections this year.
Hello TCB, I've got a friend in section 28 and was checking on your comment about being HBP. I don't see a producing well on Sonris. They or the previous landowner were not getting any royalties. Do you have a well number or location? Are you sure it's section 28 of 13N 14W.
I went by yesterday and they have started a road in on the south side of 3015 which should put it in section 29 unless they are going to section 32. I didn't see the pad site from the road.
Hi, Daryl been off site and just saw your comment. Yes, I am sure about Section, T, & Range #s. The well that holds us in production is not on Section 28 but next to Section 28. It is a shallow well. We have received request for permits to conduct 3D survey on our parcels in Section 20 and Section28.
