The latest SONRIS update for our well says:

PERF 11,806-11,600' FRAC; FLOWBACK; SHUT IN WAITING ON ORDERS

What does that mean?

I am a geologist. WOO is not a good sign (usually, not always).
CB, I am a Landman and WOO is a delay tactic to keep things secet for as long as they can.
I'm lost where did the woo thing come from? I read the earlier post????
I don't believe that well has a pipeline to it yet, if this is the case, wouldn't that be "shut in, waiting on orders"?
two dogs,

What does "waiting on state potential" mean?

Thanks.
I think he was talking about Waiting On Orders or WOO.
Or, after a couple of months it can mean this well sucks
It could mean that the well is not so great, but they aren't ready to give up on it. If the leases are running out they may just be shuting it in so they cann keep the leases going by paying rentals.
Now the status is "Shut In", and I just got a check from XTO for a shut in payment. Sigh....
Jay,
In Section 17 or in section 18? The Nelson is in 18
Jay
Sure I would like to have a look at it. As I suspect, my well (and Karens) is "Shut In" because it is waiting for pipeline?
On another note, I'm unfamiliar with "shut in royalties", assuming that is the check that Karen recieved from XTO. I also assume that market conditions control the construction of the pipeline, no sense building one until the price goes up.
Well, it has been 2 years and the well is still in shut in status. Any ideas of what that means?
