When the time comes, you can choose the color, sesport. When you have the pool set up, let me know. I'll make a guesstimate.
Thanks for the info. My question is how do I translate this information into particular section designations? For intstance, our family owns property in section 5, which is located 16N, 12W. Your map shows the number 9 in that area. Does this mean that there have been 9 applications for permits in 16N, 12W? Also, is 16N, 12W also designated as Section 5? Thank you for the help in advance.
MGB. The Snapshot Township Grid Map depicts the number of Haynesville Drilling and Production Unit orders and/or applications (Sections) in each township. It is impractical to attempt to depict which sections are under unit apps in each township. When I post the grid map, members are invited to ask for specifics as to their mineral interests. In your case, Township 16 North - Range 12 West, the following sections have unit orders: S6 to Petrohawk; S3-5,8,17,18 to J-W Operating; S30 to Questar and S35 to WSF (Petrohawk affiliate). The grid map also provides a means of depicting the current boundaries of the HS Play in NW. LA. as defined by unit orders.
MGB, there has been one horizontal Haynesville Shale well drilled and completed in that section but test rates are not yet available:

J-W Operating, Broussard 5 #1 Well, Serial #238891, S5-T16N-R12W
Where are they located in Natchitoches and Red River Parishes?
jim. If you give me a specific section and township, I can give you Haynesville units. I don't group them by parish. I suggest that you go to the Drilling Rig Locations page and review some of Les B.'s posts for Red River. There is not much activity in Natchitoches. The Red River and Natchitoches parish group pages would also be good locations to look for activity associated with those parishes.
Skip, thanks for the info.

Could you help me find out what is in Sec 3 and; 4, Township 16 N, Range 16 W?

Logger
Logger. Section 3 of 16N - 16W is under HA unit order to Chesapeake and CHK permitted a Haynesville horizontal well (Phillips Foundation 3H/Serial #239793) on May 19. Sect. 4 has not been included in a unit order to date. You can track the Phillips Foundation well on SONRIS Lite by searching wells by serial number. Besides the Scout Report on SONRIS mentioned earlier in this discussion, you can also use SONRIS Lite to search for wells by Section-Township- Range. A unit order is not required for an operator to drill a well. And all wells, producing or plugged and abandoned, will be shown. Any previous mineral reservations or servitudes would have to have been preserved by production less than ten years ago. Though there are exceptions, no production in the last ten years would have extinguished any prior reservation or servitude.
thanks much for your help, Skip. It's appreciated.

Skip, I'm a newbe from Webster. Can you point me in the right direction to find out what's going on in T17N R10W? Myself and some neighbors have been contacted concerning a "Bistineau Pipeline". Would like to know what it's for.

Respectfully.
Ralph. Petrohawk and affiliate, WSF are the only operators with HA drilling and production unit orders in 17N - 10W. Petrohawk in Section 19 and WSF in Section 32. I am not surprised that there is interest in a pipeline (gathering system) in the area east of Lake Bistineau. There has been quite a bit of leasing activity in the area. Not just by Petrohawk. Though the bulk of it is a little further south. One of the hallmarks of Haynesville Shale development is the importance of keeping pipeline construction up with wells being drilled. As there are no "dry holes", operators can commit to the capital cost of gathering systems so that wells can be "turned to sales" as soon as they are completed. I am aware of several "mid stream" (pipeline) companies active in the general area but have not previously heard the term, "Bistineau Pipeline" used. I suggest that you post a discussion on the Bienville Parish Group Page.
Greatly appreciate the information. I will do just that.

Thanks
