Rig count is rebounding, but royalty checks are decling. What does the future hold for land owners?
rig count in beaumont texas is thru the roof !! mega pads and two rigs on each pad. one pad is permitted for six wells. some are very deep 15 to 16 k . three pads working and others being built.
these wells are all kick-out drill. just wanted to share what i was seeing in another part of the world.

Thanks, king john. I'm still waiting for that Shaletini recipe? LOL!

i havent forgot about you, as it would seem, finding blue and green ingredients that layer and taste good together is more of a task than i had first thought. still working on it and will let you know soon.
anything against flaming drinks skip ?
Other than blistered lips? No. Tried Green Chartreuse? I'm thinking it's not cheating to use some food coloring as long as the Shaletini looks and tastes good. It's been a long time since I tended bar. Layering would be nice but not required, IMO.
just my idea of a bridge, i think all ingredients must be common in most bars so anyone anywhere can enjoy a shaletini. havent heard of green chartreuse but will look into it .
BTW- blow it out first !!! LOL
OH!
BTW. I do not frequent bars that do not have Green Chartreuse!! But then again I only frequent establishments that cater to adults.
skip,
im going to get a bottle of the "green stuff", read a description of it and and it might could double as "frac fluid" .LOL
i think it may actually work for what i need it for.
thanks and BTW the young people call my club the "old folks club"
so since i will have a bottle of green chartreuse, and its an old folks joint i expect to see you soon.

I was always a Strega fan myself.
Parker, as I had said last Saturday the US rig count increased last week by 23 to 899. This could just be a blip so we need to see a couple of more weeks of information to confirm a trend. Just recognize the majority of the increase was related to oil drilling in response to higher prices. I hate to rain on a parade but I do not anticipate any substantial increase in gas well drilling because of continued low natural gas prices thru early 2011. I hope I am wrong and we see a rapid recovery in the US economy.

You hit the nail on the head Les,

Higher prices = more drilling rigs

No one wants to drill unless they think they wil make a good profit.
