There are a lot of good producing wells concentrated in this area incl. the Burford well, Senator Davis's wells. Is this the core of the HS? I have heard this over and over from production people with 3 different companies

Chesapeake or Encana? I believe Encana has filed to be the operator in that section. I have also heard of other offers of $4000-$5000 an acre in anything unleased in T14 R14. Any of you out there want to say if this is a fair offer or not?
At this time, it probably is, with the price of natural gas under $3.00. We did get more than twice that much, but the prices were much higher then. We signed with Encana with 25% royalites and no option. We are in T13R14 also.
Sorry...dark in here...we are T14R14 also.
About a month ago, we saw heavy equipment going into Scout Ranch. It looked like type of equipment that would build a pad; however, no permits for either Sec. 18 or Sec. 7 of 14/14 where the Scout Ranch is located. Maybe someone on here knows something about those sections????????
I live in N. DeSoto estates as well and have been aproached at 3000 per acre and 1/4 on the mineral. i notice this is a month old have you decided to lease or been approached by with another offer?
I have heard of offers between $4000-$5000 in that area
Anyone know of anything for sec 19 T14 R14 in the kickapoo area?
kittycatmama. Can you tell us the name of the company making the offer? And anything in general about the size of the tract(s) that received the offers?
Chesapeake and Encana were offering $5000 an ac. in early Sept. for 1 ac. tracts. 25% royalty, 3 yr. leases with 2 yr. renewal clause
Thank you. That's a pretty good offer for small tracts. And a good indication of future intent to develop.
If you look on SONRIS, note that T15N R14W(Desoto) is not producing the big wells that T14 R14 are. These areas are so close, yet production so different. What gives? The latest well (Dyson) that is now posted online in Sec.21/15/14 is only 6994mcfd. 14/14 is supposedly one of the core areas and yet here is an area just a couple miles north that isn't showing great stuff.
I hope they are waiting until the prices go UP!
