There are so many Landmen working Bienville Parish they had to move to a larger work area. I was told there are 40 to 50 a day working. Is this alot? Seems like a good sign for Bienville to me.

I hope I can tell you more about this later today. I am nosy about what is going on. I am going to Arcadia and try to find someone who knows.
I started seeing caution seismic crew signs from just south of Sailes all the way to Gibsland. The tax assessors office is where I was going. The lady there said they did have an overflow in the clerk of courts office in days just past. She had heard that it was because of seismic stuff. There were flags on both sides of the highway every 1/4 to 1/2 mile or whatever the grid is. It was pouring down rain and I didn't know if I would melt or lump up, so I didn't nose around more.
Jodie,

Have you heard anything about leasing around Friendship/Saline area? My family has some land around there and wanted to know whether you heard anything?
Ron the shoot was set up before the shale play and is just now starting up. I talked with a representive of one of the companys in the shoot. They are now looking at the Haynesville, but the shoot was orig. for the Cotton Valley. You are going into the salt basin and have a lot of faulting due to the movement of the salt, this can affect horizontal drilling as it did in the Loe well also as you go in the basin the Hayensville get really deep and hot, which kills the directional tools.
Thanks Philpapa, Keep nosing around and find out what you can.
Talked to someone that was at the courthouse and said there were 30 to 40 landmen there this morning.
Catfish, considering that level of activity, it would be of value for someone to review the day book and post what companies are recording leases and in what specific areas.
Skip, Could you send me a how to message and i'll try to get over there.
Catfish -- any newer info on what's happening in the area?
Skip -- any more info on what they are recording?
