Did you all get a 1099 from your leasing company for the bonus money?

Companies are require to send 1099's to all payees that have an excess of $600 per year.
1099s Don't have to be mailed until Feb. 15th 2009. The Tax Code pertaining to 1099s was changed with the first bail-out plan.
This is when you sell one of your losing stocks to offset your bonus money.
Actually bonus money is taxed as regular income so even if it wasn't too late to sell the stock for 2008 the bonus wouldn't off set capital gains/losses anyway.

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
