drafts not being paid

I'm getting scared all this talked about drafts not being paid.I have a draft out there and have not been paid yet.Yesterday I talked to a person that handles drafts at Chk in Ok and she said my draft in due on Oct 21 and she hasn't heard anything about drafts being stopped.I don't know who to believe whats on this site or her.can someone give me some advice
