where to find permits for drilling listed and petinent info

I live next to a large open area of perhaps 2 or 3 hundred acres. I am in a Caddo Parish neighborhood outside the city limits. They have been drilling off and on for several weeks and have now capped the well and moved out. The rig had "BIG TEX' ON the door. Have not been able to find out if they had a permit or anything about why they were drilling. Far as I can tell, the owner of the property is the only one that knows anything about it and he's not talking.
Sure would like to find out more, so if anyone can help, please do. Thanks .
P.S.S. I love reading all the comments in this HAYNESVILLE SHALE AND GREATLY APPRECIATE the information

I got an error with that link.

This link, if it works, will let one search wells by parish.

Alleyboy, please see the following link:

Select "SONRIS Lite" under "Database Access"
Under "Well Information" you can search by S-T-R, Serial No, etc.

There were two recent shallow wells drilled in Sec 3-T17N-R15W.
