I thought that I would try and get an idea of how many of us have not leased yet. You do not have to put your Section, but it would help. Anything else would help also, especially number of acres, section, township, range and any offers you feel like disclosing.

My last offer was from Chesapeake of $20,000 but 2 other companies have informed me they will beat that offer. My neighbors and I have approx. 35 acres.

Interesting. Not sure it is greed to pursue what many experts are suggesting is fair value. I haven't heard a TON of people being greedy on these boards. I think people are being very cautious and holding out as there are many on these boards who have been "taken advantage of" as they did not have complete information.

The Petrohawk landman just informed me that Petrohawk has scaled back their leasing efforts. PK will continue leasing but only in sections where they already have at least 160 acres under lease.
Petrohawk told me "300" acres last week.
