Get ready for a rush of Yankee "carpetbaggers" and Con Men.They sure will be coming down here to "help" us poor uneducated country folks with all that money we are getting.After all we would just spend it on a new Cadillac or swimming pool for our rusty trailer house.

I'm personally thinking of getting a two story trailer house,maybe a cement pond is in the future to.

Interesting perspective. It seems the northeast is starting to see it's share of the 'Con Men' from down Texas way showing up to take advantage of the ignorant landowners. Apparently they expect to happen here what happened in TX and are trying to get a step ahead of the people in the Marcellus shale play.

Tuscaloosa Trend Sits On Top Of Poorest Neighbourhood For Decades - Yet No Royalties Ever Paid To The Community -- Why??

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
