section 28 township16 north range 11 West Elmgrove

We have four acres in Elm Grove. There is oil and gas activity all around us yet we have as of yet not been approached about leasing our mineral rights. We dont have any nieghbors so we are pretty much on our own. Has anyone in this area had anyone approach them?

I am in section 31in Elm Grove ... Why wait...go to them and see what happens ...You may be surprised...

I e-mailed petrohawk last week and they said they would have a landman get in contact but as of yet I havent heard anything.

Tuscaloosa Trend Sits On Top Of Poorest Neighbourhood For Decades - Yet No Royalties Ever Paid To The Community -- Why??

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
