I would like to know is there's any information on the S29 T12-N R-9-W property. Are they in the area for drilling?

Thank you for any information.

Yes, 18 Haynesville horizontal wells by Encana and SWEPI are permitted or drilling presently in 12N - 9W. No well permit for your section just yet Jenne but your section is under a drilling unit order to Encana. It is likely you will get a well in the near future. Now would be a good time to learn how to use the state minerals database, SONRIS Lite. You can find tutorials in the SONRIS Help Center Group. Good Luck.

The area is around the Carlilse Road and Red Oak Road with lots of leased land already. We are already in a lease, but things seems to be moving slow.

Jennie, you are in a good location that could be productive in both the Haynesville Shale and Bossier Shale formations. No permitted well yet for Section 29 but a well in Section 34 is waiting to be completed and there are permitted wells in Section 28 & Section 33. EnCana is beginning to complete wells between the Ashland Rd and Hickory Grove Rd so some well test information may be available soon.

Areas south of Hwy 71 should start to see increased activity as CenterPoint Field Services is headed in that direction with the new gas gathering pipeline network.

The information for your Haynesville Unit is shown below.

EnCana, Juncaceae 28 #H1 Well, Serial #241267, S28-T12N-R9W
EnCana, Brown SW Min 33 #H1 Well, Serial #241376, S33-T12N-R9W
Shell, Evelyn Nelson 34 #H1 Well, Serial #240978, S34-T12N-R9W

Jennie,
Also in Red River Parish, T 12 N, R 9 W: The Brown SW Min #14H has just been completed in Sec 14 just east of the lake (north of the Hickory Grove Road and east of Elria Rd). After you cross the Hickory Grove Rd bridge over the lake, turn left on to Elria Rd, which is the first parish road to the left. According to folks in the neighborhood, they finished frac'ing last week; no results yet, though. The well is in the NE corner of Sec 14.
RRG, I would expect to see several additional wells frac'ed in the area in the near future.
