Where does the "rumor mill" say this well is located? I don't like rumors without facts to back them. Give us the info and where it is coming from.
Physics says otherwise, have anymore info?
Are you sure its just not making some condensate?
GD, have you ever read "The Last Boom"? A really great book!
Yep, and it seems the honest landowners/farmers had no clue as to how many lies the greedy manipulators would tell to make money flipping minerals</<br />
some things never change...

GD, thanks for the color. It sits on my bookcase right next to "The Prize". It has been a few years since I read so maybe I need to have another read of it soon.

If I recall Hunt Oil did the original development of the Black Lake Field. I used to go water skiing there during the time the 1st wells were being drilled.
Les,
When you went to Black Lake did you, by chance, go to a place where you paid a dollar per car to get to the lake?
Highwayman, as I recall that was the situation. And I believe we used to call that specific area Clear Lake. Those were some great times - spending all day hanging out at the lake with friends and family.
Les: Still in the Hunt family, but wasn't it Placid that brought in the Black Lake Field - have spent many a day on that lake.
