Obed, Wells permitted and drilled as lease wells are often designated as unit wells after units are formed at some later date. It appears to me that landowners are being "screwed over" when they are operated  on lease basis, unless they happen to own well location. I cannot understand landowners not protesting.

As one of the owners in section 4, here is what was sent to me as showing the "unit".   Is this correct and accurate for the wells currently producing in Section 4?

Obed, Do you recall request made to OOC a few months back by AIX to dissolve some drilling units and to approve new units? I do know that some landowners in S4, T23N, R7W. I think hearing dates were disrupted due to hurricane. Does anyone know if said hearing has been held and what outcome was.

Interestingly, not a single landowner requested Pre-Conference Hearing. Come to think about it maybe everyone was busy celebrating

July 4th. As I recall hearing date was scheduled for 7/5.

Thanks, obed.  For those interested, links to the three Anadarko N Caddo (Caddo Pine Island and Dixie fields) Haynesville Unit applications and the field orders for both the HA (Haynesville) and SMK RC (Smackover Rerservoir C) in the Caddo Pine Island Field.

IMO, this discussion does not belong in the Brown Dense Lower Smackover group.  For the time being I think it belongs in the N Caddo group.  Hopefully it develops into a successful play and will merit its own group.

I believe your are correct....Skip......maybe Aubrey could direct  this

conversation about North Caddo to another site.......even tho LSBD

seems to be very very quiet!!!!!!!!!

Jim B.

Jim, there's a thread ongoing in the North Caddo Parish Group.

Saw about 50 Seismic trucks(Dawson Geophysical) going north from Marion. was told they went through Strong but don't know which way. I was going south from Marion towards Sterlington and they were some on the side of the road loading up equipment at the old Linville school.

Here ya go Aubrey, I hope you find it okay since there's no Reply button under you post.

DeSoto Rig # 20 is in the process of moving from Doles to Claiborne parish, west of Junction City.  Bayou De Loutre field has activity--equipment has been brought in to the pad site area.  Pipeline is being worked on near BML well area.  All of the preceding from an eyewitness!  Know some prefer Township, Range and Section but I don't have with me.

...and heard fracking starting soon on the Dean.

Thanks for the update, Sarah. The blue stars with yellow centers that SWN shows in their latest investor presentation as permitted wells appear to me to be the Bayou De Loutre location and the northern unit in the Dowdy Creek field of Claiborne Parish.
