In preparation for completion of Cabot's Denny 1-32H the company has filed an application to flare gas with the AOGC for their Feb. 22 hearings.  Link to app follows:

Skip,

The link you give clearly says that the perforated interval is 9653-12457 feet so I've got to agree with Ed on this one.

Thanks for the correction, Ed and obed.  It does appear that Cabot got about 2900' of lateral drilled and completed.  The permit was only for a 3441' lateral so Cabot didn't come up too short.  That will make the wait for the potential test a little more interesting.

I looked back at the unit order in which Cabot stated that they could drill a lateral up to 4,666' feet.  That's the max for a standard governmental section with mandated unit boundary set backs.  Reminds me that its preferable not to be a RI in early exploratory units.

the permited length was 3,721.87'

Some of that would be in the curve... say at least 300' maybe more. So they did pretty good.

Those links posted no longer work.  How would I go about finding this info on the Arkansas website?  I'm not too familiar with it.

Chester, the reports are contained in the AOGC database.  I don't have time for a tutorial right now so try this link:

Thanks Skip.  I tried going into the well files and entering in the api number for this well but it did not bring anything up.  Maybe I needed to use one of the other search fields intead.

You're welcome, Chester.  Use Well Files and search by the permit number, 45178.

AHA!  The permit number seems to be the magic trick.  I'll start using that in the future instead of API.

API will work, BUT you must enter the full number, zeros included with no dashes

On the AOGC website you can download the "DocuWare Reader"  http://aogc2.state.ar.us/scripts/cgi/dwis.pl?DOWNLOADREADER=1  (This very similar to acrobat reader). Then when you look up well files by the permit number like Skip said you will see a list of files. On the very left hand side of each line you will see a small icon looks like a small computer monitor. Click on that and open with "DocuWare". For example on the Cabot well permit 45178, there are 10 lines of data with each line having the "icon" on the far left. If you click on the icon on the Form 3 line a separate window opens. At the bottom of this window you see this document has 8 pages.

If you are using Mozilla Firefox you don't have to download "DocuWare Reader". You can just click on the line of the file you want (anywhere in the line except the icon on the left; I clicked on permit number) and the document will open in "Document display-Mozilla Firefox". This has a zoom function allowing one to adjust image size,  from 10% to 200% of original. The 200% setting is easily readable. [I too just learned how to access these documents, thanks to Skip and Ed.]
