I'm in section 24 14N 15W Desoto Parish we have 3 alternate wells permits they're drilling now went on sonrise website they have caspiana is that a oil or gas field ?Would appreciate if someone on these forum that know more about these terms would tell me what Caspiana FIeld mean.

Permalink Reply by Skip Peel - Mineral Consultant on October 8, 2015 at 16:49 Fields are geographic, not defined by the type of hydrocarbons produced. There is a little shallow oil and some condensate in the Caspiana Field but the majority of production is dry natural gas. The type of production depends on the depth of the well.
