I am seeing CHK has permitted a second well in 19-16n-14w in Caddo Parish. First well targeted Haynesville new permit is for Cotton Valley. Any ideas about this. I am in 12-16n-14w, is this something that should make me hopeful?

Bro Tommy, S12-16N-14W appears to be in the CV liquids fairway developed first by Indigo Minerals and now being followed by CHK.  We've discussed this for some time.  Use this link to go through the discussions and click on the ones with the more recent dates.

Tuscaloosa Trend Sits On Top Of Poorest Neighbourhood For Decades - Yet No Royalties Ever Paid To The Community -- Why??

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
