Cougar LLC land services

I have friends in LA that have been approached by this company offering $15.00 an acre to do a seismograph survey (geokinetics). I couldn't find any information on them I think they have an office in Homer LA.

There is an open discussion on Cougar in the Brown Dense Group under 3D seismic on the State Line.
