Hello girls and gals.Since I am stupid enough to be going in to town this close to Christmas, I was just wondering if I could pick up anything for you guys so everybody doesnt have to be treated as poorly as us last minute shoppers.
There is limited space available in my trunk so you need to be really convincing as to why your stuff should be picked up instead of somebody elses like Jim the "Benton Brawlers ", S.S.P., or any of the many other fine shalers on this site.If it is an ingredient, let me know what dish its going in because we all know thats the way to a mans heart.
If its an item for someone special, let me know why that person is so special.
This may be some of you clowns last chance to make the "List", so you better watch out. (Pun intended)

P.S. Hey KB rsp,
You never cease to amaze me and remind me all at the same time why I swoon over you the way I do!
I really dig a Chick that hates the Mall. (LOL) :-)

SS,
Thanks for that info. I just hope Rosebud didn't shoot that walking blue poo bag.
That could splatter on the neighbors. Seriously, I gotta feel sorry for the big cat.
I hated to see it shot, too. I understand the concern of wildlife officials, maybe they could have cleared the area better, had people stay inside instead of being looky-loos. And the excuse that it could have hidden in a garage or shed was a little lame. All they would have needed were a few good hunting dogs to find it. Even a few neighborhood dogs, such as Mr. Stewart's terrible trio, would have been willing to point out where it had hidden. Oh well, what's done is done.
I wonder if all these wild cat sightings will keep some of the other visitors we will be getting on edge ?

Unfortunately for the cat, the WL&F seemed totally unprepared to handle this situation and feared the liability of this cat escaping moreso then it wanted to catch and release. Especially unprepared because we dont have big cats here. Somebody shoulda told that to Pete the Puma !
WOW!!! When I get down to NWLA next, I'm going straight to Rosebuds. Who needs game preserves when you can find walking poo bags, snakes (big and small), turtles, hawks and God knows what else? Oh yeah and of course pugs! As far as the cougars go, we've had numerous sightings and a few have been killed up here and into Cheeseland.
At least someone had a DEAD snake story ( Thanks GD!) If you folks are gonna live up to the LA hillbilly persona the media portrays you as, your gonna have to kill a few critters from time to time. Up here, if you live in the country as I do, we're all simple farmers. We play the part well!
Cannie,
Are you planning a trip down here anytime soon? Please let us know when you are coming because all of us regular Shal-ites would love to meet you. We will plan a right nice shindig to welcome you!!
Cathaus
Hey Cannie,
As if I really needed to warn you about some of these shale hussies............Watch out for the ones with RSP's, especially if they got em on their heads. (LOL)
Snake don't you go chasing Cannie away. All you local guys are onto us and we Haynesville Hussies need some new blood. And for your edification, my red satin panties are no longer wearable on either end of my body!!! Danged ole' satin sheets.
Awright folks, I will let everyone when (not if) I come down there. Hopefully it will be in a month or 2. I still haven't seen the 2 wells on our land and my cousin is getting 1 or 2 on his land. Might coordinate my trip with his. I will definitely let ya'll know when that happens. I can't wait to get some of that GREAT La food! I've traveled w/ some people that eat at franchise restaurants. I can't understand why anybody would want to eat at a Applebee's or any other franchise when they can have good local home cooked food.Kinda like going to Paris and gettin' a Big Mac. Last time I was down there I ate at a place in BC called Ralph and Kaukos (sp). Is it still there? I also found the boat in BC. There were some interesting ladies hangin' out around there late at night! I thought they were attracted to my magnetic personality!?! Someone was kind enough to tap me on the shoulder and tell me different. LOL

By the way, what's RSP? I must have missed something. And why would I fear them? I like ladies.

Lastly, no I'm not ex-military but I should have been. I would've faired well in a military environment. By the way, my license plate is LKNLOD 2. Any guesses?
Cannie,
We RSP (red satin panties) ladies will enjoy meeting you. We promise to behave..............kinda! If our husbands are around, we will be on our best behavior...............not!
I hate to disappoint you, but to really get some good ole' Louisiana cooking, you will have to travel about 3 hours south. No good creole or cajun restaraunts around here. Course, you never know what Rosebud could cook up for you!
What a blast if we all get together at someone's home and do a true potluck supper. Anybody game?
LKNLOD Louisiana Kid No Liver Onions Dude!!!
How about Lock and Load 2 ?
Ding Ding Ding, we have winner!!! Thanks Snake, I was wondering what the bar tab would end up being.
Cathaus, Sounds like a slight roadtrip may be in order if I get time down there. Trust me, ANY cooking I get down there is better than what I'm used to throwing down my neck up here. Maybe it's just the variety. Afterall, they say variety is the spice of life!
Not quite right on the license plate but keep trying. For every wrong guess, I'll add a beer ( or drink of choice - no Long Island Iced Teas or other $10 drinks though) to the winner. Good Luck to all!
That RSP thing just makes me like you all the more. Ain't skeered of no RSP's!!!
