Does anybody want to divide up the site between Shale and everything else?

I would like to know if anyone else besides me is interested in a split home page with Shale threads on top, then all of the other banter below in a separate thread section. This separate thread section could still be active where the hot threads go to the top, but they would not compete with the Shale threads. Thoughts anyone? The current tone of the site seems to be non Shale.

That whole night was so fun. I remember Kassi's kids had never been on a boat, I took them thru lock#5, you should have seen the look on their faces we when locked thru, it was just the greatest thing they had ever seen.

That landman joke was so funny, your getting me started again, we might get ready for another one now that's it's spring.
Dorcheated, I am not trying to make any excuses but unfortunately some of us are not in the area. It is disappointing not to have an opportunity to put faces with the names I see every day.
Les,

Well then, you'll have to do what Cannie did and come down and meet us all.
By all means Les,

By all means if you are ever in the area, please let us know. We would love to cookout or take you out. I know the ladies did a great job with Cannie. We can do anything your schedules allow us to do. I'm thinking a clam bake, or a crawfish boil on a huge sandbar in the Red River, throw in some Tikki lamps and you have a party. Of course I would pick up people and drop them off with my boat.

Let me add this too Les, all this stuff will work it's way out, it always does. I would like to see everybody come out. It is a lot of fun putting names to faces.
As long as you don't pick up people and then throw them off of your boat, Dorcheated!
Maw, I would never do that wink wink. of course that's just one of many ideas that we can work on. We can have a picnic at one of the pavillions along the river. We will come up with something.
Amen DC. What would life be like without you and KB going at it? I have enjoyed all of your posts and participation and still trying to get you to do a follow up blog.
Keith.
We enjoy the site so, much we all thank you. There will be much better days for the GHS coming. Keith, I'll start working on something this weekend that will include everybody.
Jim, you must have taken spelling lessons from Dan Quayle. Sorry I couldn't resist.
By golly Rosebud, you think like I think. That may not be a good thing!!
Leave it as it is, All work and no play.....
I have been a site member since there were less than 100 members. I came here originally just to find out "what" the Haynesville Shale was and "why" people were suddenly interested in buying my minerals. I found those answers and so very much more!
I thank all of the individuals who have shared so much... technical, legal, industry. It's all priceless information!

I don't come to the site to chat and gossip. I come here to see what's going on in the shale. I check out the front page discussions, then I look at "Talk Shale" and then I go to "My Place" and check on "My Groups" and "My Discuussions". And I don't bother with or get involved in much else. I like it that way. Don't mess with me and I won't mess with you. If I think I have something to contribute that is helpful, I do so.

It's just my opinion... that any professional who visits to check out the site is probably intelligent enough to notice the tabs at the top of the front page. And human curiosity being what it is, they will probably check out what is found on the various tabs... particulary "Talk Shale".

If you have a discussion or a blog that you want to remain on the front page, just bump it up once in awhile. I agree with KB. It's not a popularity contest.

I think it's fine just the way it is.

The Lithium Connection to Shale Drilling

Shale drilling and lithium extraction are seemingly distinct activities, but there is a growing connection between the two as the world moves towards cleaner energy solutions. While shale drilling primarily targets…
