TRRC - East Texas District 6 - Completion Reports

 

 

Starting this discussion in order to post information and wells reports for new completions reported in the Texas Railroad Commission's District 6 region.

 

In the attached file is a word document listing 266 wells that have been posted with reports on the TRRC website from January 2010 - September 3, 2010.

 

Control click unto the "tracking number" in the document should open up the TRRC link with corresponding report info for that particular well.    If difficulties opening the link, then go directly to the Completions Queriy site at the TRRC via this link:

and then plug in the particular search details for the well, county or other info you are looking for.

Tuscaloosa Trend Sits On Top Of Poorest Neighbourhood For Decades - Yet No Royalties Ever Paid To The Community -- Why??

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
