Freestone County
XTO Energy will drill three wells.
The Eppes Unit Well No. 14 will hit 14,850 feet .6 miles southeast of Donie in the Bear Grass (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field in the N. Peck Survey, A-820. It may be drilled in the Bear Grass (Pettit or Travis Peak) Fields.
The Ham Gas Unit Well No. 40 will hit 12,100 feet 4.4 miles east of Teague in the Teague (Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated) Field. This well is in the J. Ivins Survey, A-316.
The Clarke Gas Unit Well No. 35 will hit 12,900 feet 5.6 miles southeast of Teague in the Teague (Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated) Field.
Valence Operating will drill the Rawls Well No. 4 to 13,500 feet 3.5 miles east of Teague in the Teague (Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated) Field. The well is in the J. Graham Survey, A-249 and will be drilled in the Teague (Travis Peak) Field, the Teague (Rodessa) Field or the Teague (Pettit B) Field.
Gregg County
The J.S. Elder - A-Well No. 12R and the J.C. Persons Well No. 26R will be drilled in the East Texas Field to 4,000 feet by SND Energy.
The No. 12R is .97 miles south of Kilgore in the M. Van Winkle Survey, A-208.
The No. 26R is .77 miles west of White Oak in the W.H. Castleberry Survey, A-38.
Houston County
The Navarro Crossing (Woodbine) Field will see the Steadham Well No. 1 drilled by Brooks Petroleum Co. This well is in the I&GN RR Co. Survey, A-597 with a depth of 9,000 feet.
Johnson County
Devon Energy will drill the Prospect Co-Peikoff (SA) Well No. 1H to 9,000 feet 14.7 miles northwest of Cleburne in the East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field. This well is in the W. Hickman Survey, A-327.
Chesapeake Operating will drill seven wells in the East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field to 9,000 feet.
The Old Town Well No. 2H, the Old Town Well No. 4H and the Old Town Well No. 5H are 14.5 miles north of Cleburne in the H.G. Catlett Survey, A-183.
The Poindexter Well No. 5H and the Poindexter Well No. 6H are 4.2 miles south of Cleburne in the S. Townsend Survey, A-840.
The Williams-Tucker-Buffalo Ridge SA Well No. 1H is 6.8 miles northwest of Cleburne in the S. Cooper Survey, A-159.
The Sanders View Well No. 6H is 3.9 miles northeast of Cleburne in the W.G. Cason Survey, A-155.
Limestone County
XTO Energy will drill the Heaton No. 1 Gas Unit Well No. 22, the Pratt Gas Unit No. 2 and the Pratt Gas Unit No. 3.
The No. 22 will hit 13,300 feet 12.6 miles southeast of Groesbeck in the Freestone (Cotton Valley-Bossier Sand) Field. This is in the J.L. Chavert Survey, A-4.
The No. 2 and the No. 3 will hit 14,320 feet 13.8 miles southeast of Thornton in the Farrar (Cotton Valley Lime) Field. These wells are in the M.C. Rejon Survey, A-26 and may be drilled in the Southeast Farrar (Pettit) Field or the Farrar (Travis Peak) Field.
The Vance-Jackson (SA) Well No. 1H will be drilled nine miles southeast of Groesbeck in the North Personville (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field. This well will hit 10,500 feet in the J.L. Chavert Survey, A-4.
Nacogdoches County
The Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field will see the Walker SU B Well No. 1H drilled by Exco Operating to 15,000 feet 5.3 miles southwest of Chireno in the J. Walker Survey, A-57.
Exco Operating will drill the Walker SU C Well No. 1H to 15,000 feet five miles south of Chireno in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. This well is in the J. Walker Survey, A-57.
Navarro County
In a lease 6.1 miles southeast of Corsicana in the Powell Field, the Fleming Well No. 2 will be drilled by Thurston Texas Operating to 4,000 feet in the R.A. Greer Survey, A-917.
Thurston Texas will drill the Laura Lovett Etal Well No. 5 to 4,000 feet two miles north of Navarro in the Powell Field in the J. Harris Survey, A-336.
Panola County
Samson Lone Star will drill the E.E. Neal GU 1 Well No. 2H to 12,000 feet 1.5 miles south of Elysian Fields in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. This well is in the D. Tuttle Jr. Survey, A-662.
Robertson County
O'Benco will drill the TXU 6 Gas Unit Well No. 1 to 12,400 fee 8.6 miles northwest of Franklin in the Bald Prairie (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field. This well is in the J.M. Love Survey, A-210 and may be drilled in a wildcat field.
Rusk County
The Frederick/Luling Well No. 3R will be drilled by SND Operating to 4,000 feet 2.4 miles northwest of New London in the East Texas Field. This well is in the J. Zimenes Survey, A-47.
The Minden Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 2H will hit 15,700 feet 2.9 miles southeast of Henderson in the East Henderson (Cotton Valley) Field. XTO Energy will drill this well in the J. Roome Survey, A-668.

The Houston Well No. 1H will be drilled by SM Energy to 13,000 feet 11.4 miles southeast of Center in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. The well is in the Nathan Davis Survey, A-147.
Chesapeake Operating will drill the Doug SLB Well No. 1H to 17,000 feet .5 miles northeast of Patroon in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field in the M. White Survey, A-784.

The East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field will see five new wells drilled by Chesapeake Operating to 9,000 feet.

The Pumpkin Well No. 2H and the Pumpkin Well No. 3H are 1.8 miles east of Kennedale in the J.R. Wallace Survey, A-1699.
The Calmont Well No. 3H will be drilled within the city limits of Fort Worth in the H. Covington, Hrs. Survey, A-256.
The Edgecliff A Well No. 2H will be drilled within the city limits of Fort Worth in the J. Asbury Survey, A-47.
XTO Energy will drill six wells in the East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field to 12,000 feet.
The Tradition Unit Well No. 2H is 2.9 miles northwest of Benbrook in the GHH RR Co./H. Munro Jr. Survey, A-1865.
The Rockerfellow Unit Well No. 9H is 2.2 miles northwest of Mansfield in the M. Rockerfellow Survey, A-1267.
The Maple Tree South Unit Well No. 2H and the Maple Tree South Unit Well No. 3H are within the city limits of Fort Worth in the D. Odum Survey, A-1184.
The Quarry Well No. B7H and the Quarry Well No. B10H are 4.6 miles northeast of Lake Worth in the J.T. Hobbs Survey, A-806.

XTO Energy completed the Ham Gas Unit Well No. 35 to 11,815 feet in the Teague Field. This well potentialed 1.514 million cubic feet on a 17/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated.
Harrison County
On a 20/64-inch choke the Key Deep GU Well No. 1H potentialed 6.017 million cubic feet of gas. This well was completed by NFR Energy to 15,057 feet 4.3 miles southeast of Marshall in the Carthage Field. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.
Jasper County
Enervest Operating completed the Donner-Brown Unit A-346 to 15,615 feet 1.5 miles north of Harrisburg in the Brookeland Field. On a 40/64-inch choke the well potentialed 1.140 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Austin Chalk, 8800 formation.
Johnson County
Devon Energy completed the Crawford Well No. 2H to 12,013 feet 13.21 miles northeast of Cleburne in the East Newark Field. On an open choke the well potentialed 3.005 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Barnett Shale.
Chesapeake Operating completed a well in the East Newark Field. The Cordelia Well No. 10H hit 10,689 feet 9.2 miles north of Cleburne. On a 1-inch choke the well potentialed 2.019 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Barnett Shale.
XTO Energy completed four wells in the East Newark Field.
The Tubbs Unit Well No. 3H hit 9,743 feet five miles northwest of Alvarado and potentialed 2.139 million cubic feet of gas on a 64/64-inch choke.
The Tubbs Unit Well No. 4H hit 9,802 feet five miles northwest of Alvarado and potentialed 1.764 million cubic feet of gas on a 64/64-inch choke.
The Tubbs Unit Well No. 5H hit 9,571 feet miles northwest of Alvarado and potentialed 2.009 million cubic feet of gas on a 64/64-inch choke.
The Jackson Jerry Unit Well No. 6H hit 10,736 feet within the city limits of Burleson and potentialed 3.177 million cubic feet of gas on a 28/64-inch choke.
Production is in the Barnett Shale formation.
Leon County
The Hilltop Resort Field has seen the McMurrey-State Unit Well No. 3 completed by EnCana Oil & Gas to 15,555 feet 13.7 miles east of Franklin. On a 17/64-inch choke the well potentialed 6.720 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Bossier.
Marion County
Pegasi Operating completed the Norbord Well No. 11 to 7,005 feet 1.2 miles northwest of Jefferson in the Rodessa Field. On a 14/64-inch choke the well potentialed 3.409 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Norbord-Travis Peak.
The Keahey Gas Unit Well No. 1 was completed to 11,000 feet 4.6 miles northwest of Jefferson in the Rodessa Field by Bachtell Oil & Gas. The well potentialed 631,000 cubic feet of gas on a .75-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated.
Nacogdoches County
Samson Lone Star completed the Michelle GU Well No. 1H to 15,628 feet 17 miles east of Nacogdoches in the Carthage Field. On a 14/64-inch choke the well potentialed 989,000 cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesville.
On a 15/64-inch choke the Hanna Unit Well No. 1H potentialed 10.915 million cubic feet of gas. EOG Resources completed this well to 18,615 feet 7.3 miles northwest of Chireno in the Carthage Field. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.
Panola County
Goodrich Petroleum completed the John Brooks GU Well No. 6H to 16,040 feet eight miles southwest of Tatum in the Beckville Field. On a 48/64-inch choke the well potentialed 3.939 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley.
Classic Operating completed the Werner-Micher Well No. 4H to 12,660 feet 3.1 miles west of Joaquin in the Carthage Field. On a 48/64-inch choke the well potentialed 1.866 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley.
Sabine County
The Hezekiah Well No. 1H hit 17,488 feet 11.5 miles northwest of Milan in the Carthage Field. Chesapeake Operating completed this well in the Haynesville Shale. On a 24/64-inch choke the well potentialed 18.557 million cubic feet of gas.
San Augustine County
SM Energy completed the Cortes Well No. 1H to 18,815 feet 1.8 miles northwest of San Augustine in the Carthage Field. On a 20/64-inch choke the well potentialed 10.815 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.
On a 26/64-inch choke the Ironosa GU Well No. 1H potentialed 16.360 million cubic feet of gas. Exco Operating completed this well to 19,885 feet six miles northeast of Chireno in the Carthage Field. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.
Tarrant County
The East Newark Field has seen Chesapeake Operating complete three wells. The Beedy Well No. 2H and the Beedy Well No. 3H are 10.5 miles southeast of Fort Worth.
The No. 2H hit 11,325 feet and potentialed 3.341 million cubic feet of gas on a 1-inch choke.
The No. 3H hit 10,282 feet and potentialed1.342 million cubic feet of gas on a 1-inch choke.
The Yorn Well No. 3H hit 13,264 feet 1.8 miles east of Kennedale and potentialed 5.254 million cubic feet of gas on a 1-inch choke. Production is in the Barnett Shale.
Crow Creek Operating completed three wells in the East Newark Field.
The Harbour View "C" Well No. 1H hit 9,855 feet and potentialed 1.501 million cubic feet of gas on a 19/64-inch choke.
The Harbour View "B" Well No. 3H hit 9,525 feet and potentialed 1.443 million cubic feet of gas on a 20/64-inch choke. No location was recorded for these two wells.
The Harbour View B Well No. 6H is within the city limits of Fort Worth and potentialed 1.386 million cubic feet of gas on a 22/64-inch choke. Production is in the Barnett Shale.
Texas International completed three wells in the East Newark Field 2.7 miles north of Mansfield.
The Woodland Estates West Unit Well No. 8H hit 13,140 feet and potentialed 8.755 million cubic feet of gas on a 64/64-inch choke.
The Woodland Estates West Unit Well No. 9H hit 13,442 feet and potentialed 9.100 million cubic feet of gas on a 64/64-inch choke.
The Woodland Estates West Unit Well No. 11H hit 13,250 feet on a 64/64-inch choke. Production is in the Barnett Shale.
On a 46/64-inch choke the Steeples Well No. 3H potentialed 5.101 million cubic feet of gas. This well was completed within city limits of Arlington in the East Newark Field by Vantage Fort Worth Energy to 12,246 feet. Production is in the Barnett Shale.
Quicksilver Resources completed three wells in the East Newark Field. The Boswell Unit Well No. 6H, the Boswell Unit Well No. 12H and the Boswell Unit Well No. 14H are within the city limits of Fort Worth.
The No. 6H hit 9,741 feet and potentialed 1.515 million cubic feet of gas on an open choke.
The No. 12H hit 9,875 feet and potentialed 2.815 million cubic feet of gas on an open choke.
The No. 14H hit 11,109 feet and potentialed 1.381 million cubic feet of gas on an open choke.
