  • Dallas County
    XTO Energy will drill the CD Geronimo Well No. C4H to 10,000 feet 11.1 miles southwest of Dallas in the East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field. The well is in the BBB&C RR Co. Survey, A-206.

  • Freestone County
    XTO Energy will drill the J.A. Gilliam Gas Unit Well No. 23 to 13,200 feet 6.7 miles southwest of Teague in the Freestone (Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated) Field. The well is in the A.W. Rowe Survey, A-885.
    The Dowell Gas Unit Well No. 2 will be drilled by XTO Energy to 12,900 feet three miles north of Teague in the Teague (Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated) Field. The well is in the  J.H. Webb Survey, A-634.
  • XTO Energy will drill the Marion Levels Well No. 3 to 12,900 feet in a lease two miles southwest of Teague in the Teague (Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated) Field. The well is in the T.H. Brennan Survey, A-58.
          Hill County
  • The Shelby Land LTD Unit Well No. 1H will hit 9,000 feet 3.6 miles southeast of Blum in the East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field. This well will be drilled by Quicksilver Resources in the S.S. Pool Survey, A-715.

  • Johnson County
    Chesapeake Operating will drill the Elaine-Cruey (SA) Well No. 1H to 9,000 feet 3.6 miles north of Cleburne in the East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field.  The well is in the W.G. Cason Survey, A-155.

  • Limestone County
    XTO Energy will drill two additional wells to 14,500 feet in the Farrar (Cotton Valley Lime) Field.
    The wells are designated the W.O. Stone Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 26 and W.O. Stone Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 27. Location of the Well No. 26 is 15.5 miles southeast of Groesbeck. Location of Well No. 27 is 15.6 miles southwest of Groesbeck. The wells are in the M.C. Rejon Survey, A-26 and may be drilled in the Farrar (Travis Peak) Field and Southeast Farrar
(Pettit) Field.

  • Nacogdoches County
    The H. Nelson Well No. 1H will be drilled by Goodrich Petroleum to 22,000 feet 21.5 miles southeast of Nacogdoches in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. This well is in the J.R. Medford Survey, A-406.

  • Panola County
    The Patara Oil & Gas will drill the Weir Estate Well No. 5 to 10,500 feet 11.7 miles northwest of Carthage. The well is in the W. Pearch Survey, A-551. This well may be drilled in the Itex (Pettit) Field, Itex (Travis Peak) Field, Beckville (Pettit 6800) Field, Carthage (Lower Pettit) Field, J.G.S. (Rodessa Gloyd) Field, Carthage (Rodessa) Field, Minden (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field, Beckville (Travis Peak) Field, wildcat field, Beckville (Cotton Valley) Field, Northeast Fair (Travis Peak) Field.

  • San Augustine County
    In a lease five miles southwest of San Augustine, Cabot Oil & Gas will drill the Elizabeth Leigh Well No. 1 to 16,500 feet in the Angie (James Lime). The well is in the J. Moss Survey, A-189.

  • Shelby County
    The Eubanks Unit Well No. 1H will be drill by EnCana Oil & Gas to 12,100 feet 5.6 miles southeast of Center in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. The well is in the J. Hinton Survey, A-288.

Chesapeake Operating will drill the Beasley Fed Well No. 1H to 18,000 feet 9.3 miles southeast of Joaquin in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. This well is in the S. English Survey, A-180.

XTO Energy will drill the Cyclones DU Well No. 1H to 20,400 feet 8.7 miles south of Center in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field in the A.V. Smith Survey, A-683.

  • Tarrant County
    The Greewood Well No. 1H will be drilled by Chesapeake Operating to 9,000 feet within the city limits of Fort Worth in the East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field. The well is in the J.P. Thomas HRS Survey, A-1525.

Quicksilver Resources will drill four wells to 9,000 feet in the East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field.

Location of three wells is three miles northeast of Haslet. The wells are designated the Alliance AA Brewer Unit Well No. S10H, Alliance AA Brewer Unit Well No. S11H, and the Alliance AA Brewer Unit Well No. S12H. The wells are in the J. Matthews Survey, A-1021.

The Alliance AA Brewer Unit Well No. S9H is three miles northwest of Haslet in the J. Matthews Survey, A-1021.

Chesapeake Operating will drill the Pumpkin Well No. 1H to 9,000 feet in a lease 1.8 miles east of Kennedale in the East Newark (Barnnet Shale) Field. The well is in the J.R. Wallace Survey, A-1699.

Chesapeake Operating will drill the GM West Well No. 3H in the East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field to 9,000 feet. This well is .94 miles northeast of Arlington in the M. Harris Survey, A-704.

Vargas Energy will drill four wells to 7,200 feet in the East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field.

The Edwards SE Unit Well No. 1H and the Edwards SE Unit Well No. 2H is eight miles northwest of Fort Worth in the G.W. Miller Survey, A-1826.

The Edwards SE Unit Well No. 3H is eight miles northwest of Fort Worth in the S. Townsend Survey, A-155

The Edwards SE Unit Well No. 6H is eight miles northwest of Fort Worth in the S. Townsend Survey, A-1554.

  • Upshur County
    The T.A. Blasingame Gas Unit Well No. 2H will be drilled to 12,500 feet two miles southeast of Bettie in a wildcat field by Chaparral Energy. The well is in the J.K. Brown Survey, A-54 and may be drilled in the Delrose (Haynesville) Field.

COMPLETIONS
  • Harrison County
    The Jenk-Hazb Gas Unit 1 Well No. 2H was completed by Berry Oil Co. in the Carthage Field. The well hit 10,320 feet 9.7 miles south of Marshall. On a 18/64-inch choke the well potentialed 10.909 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.

In a lease 2.5 miles southwest of Waskom, Devon Energy completed the J.K. Abney Well No. 9H to 9,458 feet in the Waskom Field. On an adjustable choke the well potentialed 5.213 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley.

On a 31/64-inch choke the Perry GU 1 Well No. 2H potentialed 6.784 million cubic feet of gas. This well was completed to 14,970 feet seven miles northwest of Waskom in the Waskom Field by Samson Lone Star. The well is in the Cotton Valley.

The A. Williams Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 12H hit 14,606 feet 5.5 miles southwest of Elysian Field. Penn Virginia Oil & Gas completed the well in the North Carthage Field. On a 30/60-inch choke the well potentialed 2.924 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley.

Forest Oil completed the John Briggs Estate Well No. 1 to 6,801 feet 10.7 miles northeast of Marshall in the Woodlawn Field. On an adjustable choke the well potentialed 84,000 cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Travis Peak - B- formation.

  • Johnson County
    Chesapeake Operating completed four wells in the East Newark Field.

The Winscott Well No. A 2H hit 10,132 feet 14.7 miles north of Cleburne and potentialed 1.887 million cubic feet of gas on a.75-inch choke.

The Tantarra Estates Well No. 4H hit 9,400 feet 11.7 miles north of Cleburne and potentialed 2.078 million cubic feet of gas on a 1-inch choke.

The Chaney Well No. 3H hit 11,765 feet 1.9 miles northeast of Cleburne and potentialed 5.222 million cubic feet of gas on a 1-inch choke.

The Chaney Well No. 4H hit 11,794 feet 1.9 miles northeast of Cleburne and potentialed 4.589 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Barnett Shale.

XTO Energy completed the Gafford Unit Well No. B 6H to 10,655 feet 4.9 miles southwest of Mansfield in the East Newark Field. On a 64/64-inch choke the well potentialed 1.713 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Barnett Shale.

  • Robertson County
    The Lily Hoppess Unit Well No. 1 is 12.5 miles northeast of Franklin. EnCana Oil & Gas completed this well to 18,500 feet in the Hilltop Resort Field. On a 20/64-inch choke the well potentialed 22.516 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Bossier.

  • Rusk County
    NFR Energy completed the Pear Barron Well No. 5HA to 14,725 feet 2.1 miles southwest of Henderson in the Minden Field. On an open choke the well potentialed 5.482 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated.

  • Tarrant County
    XTO Energy completed the TRWD C Unit D Well No. 6H to 10,605 feet four miles northwest of Avondale in the East Newark Field. On a 28/64-inch choke the well potentialed 2.395 million cubic feet. Production is in the Barnett Shale.

Chesapeake Operating completed three wells in the East Newark Field.

The Sparto Well No. 3H hit 10,962 feet within city the limits of Fort Worth. On a .75-inch choke the well potentialed 3.437 million cubic feet of gas.

The C. White Well No. 1H his 11,975 feet within the city limits of Arlington. On a 1-inch choke the well potentialed 9.651 million cubic feet of gas.

The C. Edgecliff Well No. 3H hit 12,050 feet within the city limits of Fort Worth. On a .75-inch choke the well potentialed 3.772 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Barnett Shale.
