The No. 6 will hit 13,000 feet 2.4 miles south of Teague in the Teague (Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated) Field. It is in the T.H. Brennan Survey, A-58 and may be drilled in the Teague (Pettit B) Field or the Teague (Travis Peak) Field.

• GMX Resources will drill the Verhalen "A" Well No. 8H to 13,000 feet eight miles northeast of Marshall in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. This well is in the A. Poe Survey, A-19.
  
  

In a lease 6.5 miles southwest of Waskom, in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field, the Furrh "H" Well No. 1H will be drilled by Comstock Oil & Gas. This well will hit 13,000 feet in the J.B. Stroud Survey, A-653.

• Hunt County
  The Wolfe City Well No. 1 will hit 20,000 feet 2.7 miles west of Wolfe City in a wildcat field. Parwest Land Exploration will drill this well in the A. McInturff Survey, A-704.

Chesapeake Operating will drill the Turnbow Well No. 2H to 9,000 feet within the city limits of Cleburne in the East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field. The well is in the C. Chaney Survey, A-124.

• Leon County
  The Gastar Belin Well No. 2 will be drilled to 20,000 feet 8.3 miles southeast of Hilltop Lakes in a wildcat field by Gastar Exploration. The well is in J.M. Viesca Survey, A-30 and may be drilled in the Hilltop Resort (Bossier, Knowles and Pettet) Fields.

XTO Energy will drill the YMCA Well No. B 6H, the YMCA Well No. B7H, the YMCA Well No. B 8H and the YMCA Well No. B 9H in the East Newark Field 10,000 feet. The wells will be drilled within the city limits of Fort Worth in the J.L. Hansborough Survey, A-721.

The Sky Creek North Unit Well No. 1H will be drilled within the city limits of Keller in the East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field. XTO Energy will drill this well to 10,000 feet in the L.A. Clay Survey, A-346.

• Cherokee County
  The Tinsley Well No. 1 hit 10,010 feet 5.4 miles northeast of Rusk in a wildcat field. This well was completed by Buffco Production. On a 10/64-inch choke the well potentialed 2.200 million cubic feet of gas.

  The South Cannon Well No. 1H and the South Cannon Well No. 2H were completed three miles northeast of Venus by Range Production in the East Newark Field.

• Harrison County
  The Zach Abney Unit Well No. 4H was completed by Devon Energy to 13,341 feet in the Waskom Field. The well potentialed 7.469 million cubic feet of gas on an adjustable choke.

The Scott Well No. 3H hit 12,202 feet 9.1 miles southeast of Cleburne and on a 24/64-inch choke potentialed 569,000 cubic feet of gas.

The Bransom No. 2H hit 11,615 feet 9.5 miles northeast of Cleburne and on a 28/64-inch choke the well potentialed 1.240 million cubic feet of gas.

The Bransom Well No. 3H hit 9.5 miles northeast of Cleburne and potentialed 2.803 million cubic feet of gas on a 28/64-inch choke.

The Bransom Well No. 4H hit 11,313 feet 9.5 miles northeast of Cleburne and potentialed 1.766 million cubic feet of gas on a 28/64-inch choke.

Chesapeake Operating completed a new well to 9,675 feet 10.5 miles north of Cleburne in the East Newark Field. On a 1-inch choke the well potentialed 2.603 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Barnett Shale.

Titan Operating completed the Green Acres Unit Well No. 1H to 11,400 feet 1.9 miles southeast of Pleasant Point in the East Newark Field. On a 48/64-inch choke the well potentialed 3.801 million cubic feet of gas.

On a 64/64-inch choke the Spring Valley Unit Well No. 4H potentialed 4.795 million cubic feet of gas. EOG Resources completed the well to 10,608 feet 4.2 miles northwest of Alvarado in the East Newark Field. Production is in the Barnett Shale.

• Leon County
  BRG Lone Star completed the Betts Gas Unit Well No. 1 and the Ellison Gas Unit Well No. 2 in the Bear Grass Field.
  
  

The Betts Gas Unit Well No. 1 hit 10,550 feet 1.6 miles west of Jewett. On a 32/64-inch choke the well potentialed 259,000 cubic feet of gas.

The Ellison Gas Unit Well No. 2 well hit 10,400 feet 15.4 miles northwest of Centerville. On a 15/64-inch choke the well potentialed 323,000 cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Travis Peak.

Devon Energy completed two new wells in the East Newark Field.

The Veale Ranch Well No. 35 hit 13,761 feet six miles southeast of Aledo and potentialed 2.465 million cubic feet of gas on an open choke.

Carrizo Oil & Gas completed the Levy Acres Unit Well No. 1H to 10,575 feet 4.7 miles west of Mansfield in the East Newark Field. On a 26/64-inch choke the well potentialed 4.507 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Barnett Shale.
