XTO Energy will drill the W. A. Davidson Well No. 9 to 13,100 feet 7.8 miles southeast of Teague in the Dew (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field. This well is in the H.C. Cook Survey, A-118.

Harrison County

In a lease three miles southwest of Waskom in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field, Devon Energy will drill the Taylor "A"-Taylor (Allocation) Well No. 23 H to 12,000 feet This well is in the T.D. Wilson Survey, A-811.

Prenwell will drill the Turner Well No. 1 to 2,550 feet 20.4 miles southeast of Marshall in the Panola Field. This well is in the J.H. Harrison Survey, A-329.

Johnson County

Devon Energy will drill three new wells in the East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field to 9,000 feet.

The Crawford Well No. 2H is 13.2 miles northeast of Cleburne in the A.M. James Survey, A-466.

The Peikoff-Prospect Co. (SA) Well No. 1H is 14.6 miles northwest of Cleburne in the E. Hendricks Survey, A-328.

The John Edward King Well No. 7H is 9.3 miles west of Cleburne in the H&TC RR Co. Survey, A-394.

Quicksilver Resources drill the John J. Miles Unit Well No. 6H to 9,000 feet .5 miles northeast of Cresson in the East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field. This well is in the N. Smith Survey, A-755.

Chesapeake Operating will drill two new wells in the East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field to 9,000 feet. The Darby Well No. 4H and the Darby Well No. 5H are 5.6 miles northeast of Cleburne in the J. Williams Survey, A-891.

Leon County

The Betts Gas Unit Well No. 2 will be drilled to 10,500 feet 1.7 miles west of Jewett by BRG Lone Star. This well is in the Bear Grass (Travis Peak) Field in the H.C. Hendrick Survey, A-1026. It may be drilled in the Branton (Rodessa and Pettit) Fields.

McLennan County

The South Bosque Field will see four new wells drilled to 460 feet by Slick Inc. The wells are one mile west of Waco in the T.H. Barron Survey, A-126. The wells are designated the South Bosque Wilson "B" Well No. 39A, the South Bosque Wilson "B" Well No. 39B, the South Bosque Wilson "B" Well No. 39D and the South Bosque Wilson "B" Well No. 39E.

Nacogdoches County

The Vikings DU Well No. 1H will be drilled to 13,700 feet 2.7 miles east of Chireno in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. This well is in the Jose Ignacio Y'Barbo Survey, A-60.

EXCO Operating will drill the Walker SU D Well No. 1H and the Walker SU F Well No. 1H in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. The wells will hit 15,000 feet in the J. Walker Survey, A-57.

The Walker SU D Well No. 1H is 5.7 miles southeast of Chireno and the Walker SU F Well No. 1H is 5.8 miles southeast of Chireno.

Panola County

NFR Energy will drill the Foote GU Well No. 5H to 12,525 feet seven miles northwest of Beckville in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. The well is in the T.W. Walden Survey, A-698.

Chevron will drill the Frost B Unit Well No. 1H to 10,500 feet 18 miles south of Carthage in the Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field. The well is in the M. Carpenter Survey, A-921.

Robertson County

O'Benco will drill the TXU 7 Well No. 1 to 12,250 feet in the Bald Prairie (Cotton Valley Consoli-dated) Field. The well is in the W.J. Smith Survey, A-336 and may be drilled in a wildcat field.

The Glockzin Well No. 1H will be drilled to 8,500 feet 1.4 miles northeast of Wheelock in the Ici (Georgetown) Field. Rockerfeller Hughes will drill the well in the E.L.R. Wheelock Survey, A-53. It may be drilled in a wildcat field.

Clayton Williams Energy will drill the Sanders-Cash Unit Well No. 1 to 7,000 feet 6.4 miles southeast of Hearne in the Giddings (Austin Chalk-3) Field. This is in the G.A. Nixon Survey, A-31.

San Augustine County

SM Energy will drill the Cortes Well No. 1H to 14,000 feet 1.8 miles northwest of San Augustine in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. This well is in the E. Quirk Survey, A-35.

Shelby County

XTO Energy will drill the Panthers DU Well No. 2H and the Spartans DU Well No. 1H to 13,000 feet in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field.

The No. 2H is 7.2 miles northwest of San Augustine in the E. Burns Survey, A-1086.

The No. 1H is 8.2 miles southwest of Shelbyville in the S. Gilbreath Survey, A-957.

Smith County

In a lease 12.6 miles northwest of Tyler in the Lane Chapel (Paluxy A Sand) Field, the Hitt Unit Well No. 1 will be drilled by 3-T Exploration. The well will hit 8,000 feet in the P. Archer Survey, A-52 and may be drilled in the Hide-A-Way (Paluxy) Field and a wildcat field.

Tarrant County

Chesapeake Operating will drill four wells to 9,000 feet in the East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field.

The first two wells are in the J.C. Yates Survey, A-1753. The wells are designated the Kyle Well No. 2H and Kyle Well No. 3H. Both wells are within city limits of North Richland Hills.

The Billie Well No. 2H is .7 miles west of Fort Worth in the P.H. Ahlers Survey, A-33. The Kyle Well No. 1H is within the city limits of North Richland Hills in the J.C. Yates Survey, A-1753.

In a lease 2.5 miles northeast of Mansfield, Carrizo Oil & Gas will drill the Ervin Unit Well No. 8H to 9,000 feet in the East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field. The well is in the J. Grimsey Survey, A-578.

The Rosen Unit Well No. 1H, Rosen Unit Well No. 6H and the TRWD Wildlife Unit Well No. B3H will be drilled by XTO Energy to 12,000 feet in the East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field.

The No. 1H and the No. 6H are 4.1 miles southwest of Saginaw in the W.M. Robinson Survey, A-1310.

The No. B3H is 3.4 miles southwest of Avondale in the J. Wilcox Survey, A-1722.

EnCana Oil & Gas will drill the Virginia Richardson Unit Well No. 4H to 9,000 feet 4.9 miles southwest of Benbrook in the East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field. This well is in the T&P RR Co. Survey, A-1475.

Titan Operating will drill the Backdraft Well No. 1H to 7,500 feet 4.2 miles southeast of Kennedale in the East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field. This well is in the G. Gibson Survey, A-604.

In a lease within city limits of Mansfield, the Debbie Lane B Unit Well No. 6H will be drilled by Carrizo Oil & Gas to 9,000 feet in the J. Grimsley Survey, A-578.

COMPLETIONS

Anderson County

The McClinton Well No. 17 is two miles west of Slocum in the Slocum Field. Lockout Corp. completed this well to 560 feet. This well flowed with two barrels of crude, choke size not recorded.

Ellis County

On a .75-inch choke, the Byrum Unit Well No. 1H potentialed 516,000 cubic feet of gas. Endeavor Energy completed the well to 13,011 feet one mile north of Maypearl in the East Newark Field. Production is in the Barnett Shale.

Rang Production completed the South Cannon Well No. 2H in the East Newark Field. This well hit 11,103 feet three miles northeast of Venus. On a 48/64-inch choke the well potentialed 890,000 cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Barnett Shale.

Harrison County

The Carthage Field has seen more production since Walling Gas Unit Well No. 1H has been completed by Exco Operating. The well hit 14,780 feet 2.6 miles north of Waskom. On a 18/64-inch choke the well potentialed 6.757 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.

BP America completed the Findley Gas Unit "A" Well No. 6H to 11,994 feet 2.3 miles east of Woodlawn Field in the Woodlawn Field. This well potentialed 2.065 million cubic feet of gas on an adjustable choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley.

Johnson County

The Tolbert Well No. 5H was completed by EOG Resources to 11,920 feet 3.9 miles north of Venus in the East Newark Field. On a 64/64-inch choke the well potentialed 3.444 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Barnett Shale.

Six wells were completed by EOG Resources in the East Newark Field. The wells were gauged on a 64/64-inch choke.

The Falls Creek Well No. 1H hit 11,350 feet five miles southwest of Godley and potentialed 1.955 million cubic feet of gas.

The Fowler Well No. 18H hit 9,158 feet 4.4 miles northwest of Alvarado and potentialed 3.404 million cubic feet of gas.

The Fowler Well No. 19H hit 9,623 feet 4.4 miles northwest of Alvarado and potentialed 3.509 million cubic feet of gas.

The Tolbert Well No. 3H hit 12,510 feet 3.9 miles north of Venus and potentialed 3.557 million cubic feet of gas.

The Tolbert Well No. 4H hit 12,150 feet 3.9 miles north of Venus and potentialed 3.856 million cubic feet of gas.

The Tolbert Well No. 6H hit 11,490 feet 3.9 miles north of Venus and potentialed 2.917 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Barnett Shale.

Chesapeake completed an additional well in the East Newark Field. The Rodeo Grounds Well No. 2H hit 12,040 feet within the city limits of Cleburne. On a 1-inch choke the well potentialed 4.633 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Barnett Shale.

Panola County

In a lease 13.1 miles northwest of Carthage, the C. Brooks Well No. 12 was completed to 10,225 feet in the Beckville Field. Operator in charge is Patara Oil & Gas. The well potentialed 1.202 million cubic feet of gas on a 20/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley.

The Bowles Energy completed the Maizie Lynch Well No. 1 to 7,010 feet 14.3 miles southeast of Deberry in the Belle Bower Field. The well potentialed 144,000 cubic feet of gas. Choke size not recored. Production is in the Travis Peak.

San Augustine

Exco Operating completed the Red River 620 B Well No. 1 and the Haley Shale Unit Well No. 1H in the Carthage Field.

The No. 1 well hit 17,213 feet 6.1 miles northeast of Attoyac. On a 14/64-inch choke the well potentialed 5.594 million cubic feet of gas.

The No. 1H hit 17,983 feet 5.5 miles northeast of Attoyac. On a 24/64-inch choke the well potentialed 15.553 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.

Shelby County

EOG Resources completed the Tolles Well No. 1 to 10,700 feet 13.2 miles southwest of Center in the Naconiche Creek Field. On a 24/64-inch choke the well potentialed 839,000 cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Rodessa-Travis Peak Consolidated.

The Bam Bam Well No. 2H hit 10,619 feet 11.5 miles southeast of Shelbyville in the Huxley by Samson Lone Star. On a 22/64-inch choke the well flowed 28 barrels of crude. Production is in the Fredricksburg.

In a lease 3 miles southeast of Center in the Waskom Field, the Chesapeake Operating completed the Pilot Well No. 1H to 17,047 feet. The well potentialed 4.834 million cubic feet of gas on a 16/64-inch choke. Production is in the Haynesville.

 Tarrant County

EOG Resources completed the Moore Well No. 1H to 10,241 feet within the city limits of Kennedale in the East Newark Field. On a 64/64-inch choke the well potentialed 7.610 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Barnett Shale.

The Trimble Unit Well No. 3H was completed by Range Production to 9,886 feet 1.6 miles west of Everman in the East Newark Field. On a 34/64-inch choke the well potentialed 2.306 million cubic feet of natural gas. Production is in the Barnett Shale.

XTO Energy completed four new wells in the East Newark Field. The Maple Tree South Unit Well No. 1H is within city limits of Fort Worth and hit 12,394 feet. The well potentialed 4.723 million cubic feet of gas on a 38/64-inch choke.

The Hames Ranch Well No. 1H hit 11,220 feet three miles south of Keller. On a 64/64-inch choke the well potentialed 1.075 million cubic feet of gas.

The Dobson Unit Well No. 5H hit 10,965 feet 4.1 miles southwest of Benbrook. On a 60/64-inch choke the well potentialed 5.484 million cubic feet of gas.

The Ok Corral A Unit Well No. 4H hit 12,088 feet 3.3 miles southeast of Kennedale. On a 36/64-inch choke the well potentialed 2.524 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Barnett Shale.

In a lease four miles north of Saginaw, Devon Energy completed the Boaz-Morris Matson (SA) Well No. 2H to 11,074 feet in the East Newark Field. The well potentialed 2.364 million cubic feet of natural gas on a 22/64-inch. Production is in the Barnett Shale.

Chesapeake completed eight additional wells in the East Newark Field.

The I-20 JV Well No. 7H hit 11,933 feet 4.6 miles southeast of Arlington and potentialed 4.047 million cubic feet of gas on a 1-inch choke.

The Hullabaloo Well No. 1H hit 11,238 feet within the city limits of Fort Worth and potentialed 3.901 million cubic feet of gas on a 0.75-inch choke.

The McCulley Well No. 2H hit 10,436 feet 6.7 miles southeast of Fort Worth and potentialed 1.625 million cubic feet of gas on a .75-inch choke.

The Bass 311 A Well No. 1H hit 10,726 feet within the city limits of Fort Worth and potentialed 2.876 million cubic feet of gas on a .75-inch choke.

The Bass 311 A Well No. 2H hit 10,874 feet within the city limits of Fort Worth and potentialed 3.562 million cubic feet of gas on a .75-inch choke.

Carrizo Oil & Gas completed the Lonestar Unit Well No. 9H to 13,135 feet within the city limits of Arlington in the East Newark Field. The well potentialed 4.069 million cubic feet of gas on a 26/64-inch choke. Production is in the Barnett Shale.

Upshur County

The Johnson Well No. 1H was completed by Tanos Exploration to 14,259 feet six miles west of Gladewater in the Gilmer Field. The well potentialed 2.877 million cubic feet of gas on a 36/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley Sands.
