Cherokee County

The Curtis Gresham Well No. 2 will be drilled 5.1 miles northeast of Rusk in a wildcat field by Buffco Production. This well will hit 10,000 feet in the J. Orchard Survey, A-660 and may also be drilled in the Anne (Pettit) Field or the Bufkin (Pettit) Field.

Gregg County

The Longview North Gas Unit Well No. 2H will be drilled by J-W Operating to 15,000 feet 4.8 miles northeast of Longview in the Willow Springs (Cotton Valley) Field. The well is in the D. Hill Survey, A-93.

Harrison County

The Moseley GU Well No. 4H will be drilled to 12,166 feet six miles northwest of Henderson in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. NFR Energy will drill this well in the J.J. Kennedy Survey, A-380.

The Davis Gas Unit "F" Well No. 3H will be drilled to 11,000 feet .7 miles northeast of Woodlawn in the Woodlawn (Cotton Valley) Field by BP America Production. This well is in the L. Watkins Survey, A-750.

Houston County

In a lease 6.5 miles east of Weldon in the Trinity Field, the Mollie Shaw Well No. 29 will be drilled by Houston Petroleum. This well will hit 2,500 feet in the C.M. Ellis Survey, A-371.

Johnson County

Chesapeake Operating will drill three wells in the East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field to 9,000 feet.

The Berry-Tanterra-1st Baptist (SA) Well No. 1H is 11.2 miles west of Cleburne in the H.G. Catlett Survey, A-182.

The Little Hoss 7 Well No. A6H is 14.9 miles northwest of Cleburne in the J.F. Randel Survey, A-733.

The Little Hoss 7 Well No. G 9H is 14.6 miles northwest of Cleburne in the SP RR Co./G.W. Freeland Survey, A-1032.

The Molar Unit Well No. 2H will be drilled in the East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field to 12,000 feet by XTO Energy. This well is 4.3 miles southeast of Burleson in the W.B. Capps Survey, A-140.

Nacogdoches County

XTO Energy will drill the Longhorns DU Well No. 1H and the Longhorns DU Well No. 3H to 13,700 feet 1.5 miles east of Chireno in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. These wells are in the J.I. Y'Barbo Survey, A-60.

Panola County

The Mattie Bell Well No. 3 will be drilled to 10,200 feet 4.3 miles northeast of Beckville in the Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field. R. Lacy Services will drill this well in the J.H. Coots Survey, A-133.

Robertson County

XTO Energy will drill the Steakley Gas Unit Well No. 13 to 15,700 feet 2.4 miles northwest of Franklin in the Bald Prairie (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field. This well is in the A. Tomlinson Survey, A-391.

San Augustine County

Devon Energy will drill the J. Sublett GU Well No. 2H to 15,000 feet 3.5 miles east of San Augustine in the Angie (James Lime) Field. This well is in the E. Roberts Survey, A-37.

EnCana Oil & Gas will drill two wells in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field to 15,500 feet.

The BSI/USFS A274 Unit F4 Well No. 1H is 6.9 miles southwest of San Augustine.

The BSI/USFS A274 Unit F5 Well No. 1H is 6.6 miles southwest of San Augustine. These wells are in the SP RR Co. Survey, A-274.

SM Energy will drill the Lasalle Well No. 1H and the Magellan Well No. 1H to 14,000 feet 1.7 miles northeast of San Augustine in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. Both well are in the E. Quirk Survey, A-35.

XTO Energy will drill the Mavericks DU Well No. 2H to 13,000 feet 6.8 miles northwest of San Augustine in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. This well is in the HT&B RR Co. Survey, A-159.

Shelby County

XTO Energy will drill two wells in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field.

The Demon Deacons DU Well No. 1H will hit 12,800 feet 12.8 miles southeast of Shelbyville in the T.R. Goodwyn Survey, A-256.

The Pirates DU Well No. 2H will hit 13,000 feet 9.9 miles southwest of Shelbyville in the E. Burns Survey, A-1086.

Newfield Exploration will drill the PDU "Birch" Well No. B1 to 12,500 feet 8.6 miles east of Shelbyville in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. This well is in the B.H. Simpson Survey, A-635.

Tarrant County

Chesapeake Operating will drill nine wells in the East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field to 9,000 feet.

The Mulligan Well No. 1H is 5.4 miles west of Fort Worth in the H. Covington H Survey, A-256.

The Mulligan Well No. 2H is 5.4 miles west of Fort Worth in the S.H. McEntire Survey, A-1006.

The Glencrest Well No. 2H is within the city limits of Fort Worth in the M. Watson Survey, A-1657.

The Moho Well No. 1H is within the city limits of Fort Worth in the A. Newton Survey, A-1161.

The Ziegler Well No. 1H is within the city limits of Fort Worth in the G.J. Ashabranner Survey, A-7.

The Pleasant Ridge Well No. 2H is within the city limits of Arlington in the O.D. Beall Survey, A-208.

The Dunn Well No. 2H is within the city limits of Fort Worth in the J.M. Steiner Survey, A-1972.

The Greenman Well No. 6H is within the city limits of Arlington in the J. Childress Hrs. /State of Texas Survey, A-251.

The Westcliff Well No. 8H is within the city limits of Fort Worth in the T. McCanne Survey, A-1033.

In a lease 4.7 miles north of Azle in the East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field the Sorrow South Unit Well No. 3H will be drilled by XTO Energy. This well will hit 12,000 feet in the J.R. McElroy Survey, A-1066.

XTO Energy will drill three wells in the East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field to 12,000 feet.

The Sorrow South Unit Well No. 4H and the Sorrow South Unit Well No. 5H are 4.7 miles north of Azle in the J.R. McElroy Survey, A-1066.

The Freddie Unit Well No. 8H is 1.7 miles southwest of Rendon in the H. Little Survey, A-930.

 

COMPLETIONS

Leon County

The Spring Branch Gas Unit Well No. 1 has been completed by XTO Energy in the Bear Grass Field. This well hit 15,291 feet 5.3 miles northwest of Jewett and potentialed 445,000 cubic feet of gas on a 48/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated.

Panola County

Devon Energy completed the Moore Unit Well No. 22 to 9,848 feet 1.6 miles northeast of Carthage in the Carthage Field. On an adjustable choke the well potentialed 851,000 cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley.

Exxon Mobil completed the BS Broderick GU 2 Well No. 5H to 13,890 feet 8.5 miles southeast of Carthage in the Carthage Field. On a .4062-inch choke the well potentialed 2.432 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley.

Devon Energy completed the Hebert Well No. 24 in the Carthage Field. This well hit 9,860 feet 5.8 miles northeast of Carthage. On an adjustable choke the well potentialed 1.534 million cubic feet of gas in the Cotton Valley.

Classic Operating completed the Frost-Tenaha Gas Unit Well No. 1 to 9,800 feet 3.5 miles west of Joaquin in the Carthage Field. This well potentialed 1.622 million cubic feet of gas on a 44/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley.

BP America completed the G.T. Allison Gas Unit Well No. 4 to 10,010 feet in the Carthage Field. On an adjustable choke the well potentialed 60,000 cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley.

Shelby County

Chesapeake completed two wells. The Herone Well No. 1H hit 16,259 feet 4.3 miles southeast of Center in the Carthage Field. On a 20/64-inch choke the well potentialed 4.301 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.

The Jarry Well No. 1H hit 17,633 feet 2.7 miles southwest of Center in the North Carthage Field. On a 18/64-inch choke the well potentialed 5.696 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Bossier Shale.

Tarrant County

Chesapeake Operating completed five wells in the East Newark Field.

The Landing South Well No. 1H hit 14,000 feet 4.1 miles southwest of Arlington and potentialed 7.895 million cubic feet of gas on a .6718-inch choke.

The Colby Well No. 5H hit 11,700 feet 4.6 miles southeast of Arlington and potentialed 4.857 million cubic feet of gas on a 1-inch choke.

The Ballard Well No. 1H hit 10,461 feet within the city limits of Arlington and potentialed 3.005 million cubic feet of gas on a 1-inch choke.

The Indus State Well No. 2H hit 10,055 feet within the city limits of Fort Worth and potentialed 3.844 million cubic feet of gas on a .75-inch choke.

The Traders Village Well No. 4H hit 11,366 feet 4.1 miles southeast of Arlington and potentialed 3.402 million cubic feet of gas on a 1-inch choke. Production is in the Barnett Shale.
