Anderson County
The C.G Sewell Well No. 2 will be drilled in the Anwac (1300 Wilcox) Field by BBC&D Enterprises. This well will hit 2,100 feet eight miles east of Palestine in the Anderson CSL Survey, A-73.
Franklin County
The Hernandez Well No. 1 will be drilled 1.7 miles southeast of Mt. Vernon in the Mt. Vernon (Pettit) Field. Tensas Delta Exploration will drill this well to 7,500 feet in the W. Arnold Survey, A-9 and may be drilled in a wildcat field.
Harrison County
The Winston Well No. 1 will be drilled by Ark-La-Tex in the Longwood (Cotton Valley) Field. This well will hit 9,900 feet five miles north of Waskom in the G. Anderson Survey, A-50. This well may be drilled in the Waskom (Page 6000, Page Sand, Travis Peak 6150, Bell Zone or Travis Peak 6100) Fields.
In a lease four miles southwest of Hallsville, in the North Lansing (Lower Cotton Valley) Field, the Cullen Heirs Well No. 4H will be drilled by NFR Energy to 11,500 feet in the A. Real Survey, A-594.
Houston County
Burk Royalty will drill the Etheredge Well No. 1 to 13,000 feet 6.5 miles southwest of Lovelady in the Fort Trinidad (Upper Glen Rose) Field. The well is in the F. Perez Survey, A-63 and may be drilled in the East Fort Trinidad (Georgetown) Field, the East Fort Trinidad (Edwards) Field, the Southeast Fort Trinidad, (Edwards) Field, the East Fort Trinidad (Buda) Field, the East Fort Trinidad (Edwards –A-) Field or a wildcat field.

Johnson County
Chesapeake Operating will drill six wells in the East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field to 9,000 feet.
  The Chevy Well No. 10H is 2.4 miles north of Cleburne in the M.A. McNeill Survey, A-566.
  The Deann Well No. is within the city limits of Cleburne in the T. Harlow Survey, A-335.
  The Unicorn Well No. 2H, the Unicorn Well No. 5H, the Unicorn Well No. 6H and the Unicorn Well No. 7H are 13.1 miles north of Cleburne in the J.W. Henderson Survey, A-376.
There will be a new well drilled in the East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field to 9,000 feet by Devon Energy. The Monty Miller Well No. 4H is 6.5 miles northeast of Cleburne in the T.N. Baird Survey, A-40.

Leon County
The Hamill Foundation Well No. 1 will be drilled by Clayton Williams Energy in a wildcat field. This well will hit 20,000 feet 13.6 miles northeast of Centerville in the I&GN RR Co. Survey, A-423.
Limestone County
In a lease three miles southwest of Donie in the Farrar (Cotton Valley Lime) Field, the Chandler Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 20 will be drilled by XTO Energy to 14,900 feet in the W.F. Ritchie Survey, A-485. The well may also be drilled in the Southeast Farrar (Pettit) Field or the Farrar (Travis Peak) Field.
Navarro County
JLA Resources will drill the Bancroft Unit #1 Well No. 1 in a wildcat field. This well will hit 3,500 feet eight miles east of Corsicana in the I.C. Holt Survey, A-362.
Panola County
XTO Energy will drill the F.L. Hodge Well No. 7H to 18,500 feet 5.9 miles northwest of DeBerry in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. This well is in the T. Hill Survey, A-288.
The JD Brasher Well No. A 2H and the JD Brasher Well No. A 3H will hit 18,000 feet 1.4 miles northeast of Beckville in the Carthage (Travis Peak 6400) Field. These wells will be drilled by Chevron U.S.A. in the E. Smith Survey, A-601.
In a lease 4.2 miles southwest of Carthage, in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field, the CGU 8 Well No. 56HH will be drilled by Anadarko E&P to 13,000 feet in the U.J. Longacre, Survey, A-403.
Rusk County
The Gilson GU Well No. 6H by will be drilled by NFR Energy to 11,280 feet three miles southwest of Henderson in the East Henderson (Cotton Valley) Field. This well is in the H.M. Smith Survey, A-702.
Shelby County
Classic Operating will drill the North Naquin GU Well No. 2H to 13,100 feet four miles west of Joaquin in the Southeast (Cotton Valley) Field. This well is in the G.R. Rains Survey, A-597.
The South Naquin GU Well No. 2H will be drilled by Classic Operating to 13,100 feet four miles west of Joaquin in the Southeast Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field. This well is in the G.R. Rains Survey, A-597.
Tarrant County
XTO Energy will drill four new wells in the East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field to 12,000 feet.
  The Rockerfellow Unit Well No. 14H is 2.2 miles northwest of Mansfield in the M. Rockerfellow Survey, A-1267.
  The Rose A Unit Well No. 3H is within the city limits of Arlington in the L.B. Ledbetter Survey, A-964.
  The Liberty School Unit Well No. 3H is 1.7 miles northeast of Peden in the H.A. McNutt Survey, A-1062.
  The Edwards Riverhills A Unit Well No. L 7H is within the city limits of Fort Worth in the E.H. Burke Survey, A-160.
Chesapeake Operating will drill eight new wells in the East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field to 9,000 feet.
  The Big Bend Well No. 2H is within the city limits of Fort Worth in the B.F. Crowley Survey, A-307.
  The White A Well No. 1H and the White B Well No. 5H are within the city limits of Arlington in the W.W. Warnell Survey, A-1612.
  The Heidi Well No. 1H is within the city limits of Fort Worth in the L.G. Tinsley Survey, A-1523.
  The Elliston Well No. 3H is within the city limits of Fort Worth in the M. Johnson Survey, A-858.
  The Canucks Well No. 1H is within the city limits of Tarrant in the R. Collins Survey, A-351.
  The Elliston Well No. 2H is within the city limits of Fort Worth in the M. Johnson Survey, A-858.
  The Bluth TRT Well No. 4H is within the city limits of White Settlement in the D.E. Norton Survey, A-1174.
Wood County
The Harper Well No. 1 will be drilled to 6,500 feet 8.8 miles northwest of Hawkins in a wildcat field. Sunland Production will drill this well in the J.B. Tucker Survey, A-577.
Southwest Operating, Inc.-Tyler will drill the Goldsmith Well No. 7 to 4,800 feet three miles northwest of Quitman in the Quitman (Sub-Clarksville) Field. This well is in the J. Robbins Survey, A-484.


COMPLETIONS

Johnson County
Bosque Disposal Systems completed the Sophia #2 Well No. 2 to 11,508 feet .89 miles northeast of Lillian in the East Newark Field. No test data was recorded. Production is in the Barnett Shale.
Leon County
BRG Lone Star completed the Ellison Gas Unit Well No. 2 to 10,400 feet 15.4 miles northwest of Centerville in the Branton Field. On a 64/64-inch choke the well potentialed 992,000 cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Rodessa.
EnCana Oil & Gas completed the Senator Ranch “A” Unit Well No. 2 to 18,400 feet 4.5 miles south of Wealthy in the Hilltop Resort Field. On a 17/64-inch choke the well potentialed 13.872 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Bossier.
Limestone County
XTO Energy completed three new wells.
  The J.A. Gilliam Gas Unit Well No. 29 hit 12,649 feet 6.9 miles southwest of Teague in the Freestone Field and potentialed 351,000 cubic feet of gas on a 12/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated.
  The W.O. Stone Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 26 hit 14,023 feet 15.5 miles southeast of Groesbeck and potentialed 1.582 million cubic feet of gas on a 12/64-inch choke.
  The W.O. Stone Well Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 27 hit 14,115 feet 15.3 miles southeast of Groesbeck and potentialed 677,000 cubic feet of gas on a 11/64-inch choke. These two wells were completed in the Farrar Field with production in the Cotton Valley Lime.
Robertson County
XTO Energy completed the Mary J. Watts Gas Unit Well No. 11 to 13,000 feet 16.4 miles northeast of Franklin in the Bald Prairie Field. The well potentialed 1.401 million cubic feet of gas on a 13/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated.
Shelby County
The Christine Well No. 1H was completed by Chesapeake Operating to 17,636 feet 8.2 miles southeast of Huxley in the Carthage Field. On a 16/64-inch choke the well potentialed 9.284 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.
On an adjustable choke the Franks Estate Well No. 1 potentialed 34,000 cubic feet of gas. Devon Energy completed the well to 10,281 feet 12 miles northeast to Center in the Stockman Field in the Travis Peak.
XTO Energy completed the Beavers DU Well No. 1H to 19,053 feet 9.3 miles southwest of Center in the Carthage Field. On a 15/64-inch choke the well potentialed 4.380 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.
Tarrant County
Chesapeake Operating completed seven wells in the East Newark Field.
  The RLB Well No. 1H hit 10,242 feet within the city limits of Fort Worth and potentialed 4.892 million cubic feet of gas on a .75-inch choke.
  The Keep A Steppin North Well No. 2H hit 12,030 feet 4.5 and potentialed 6.134 million cubic feet of gas on a 1-inch choke.
  The Gorbett Well No. 1H hit 9,680 feet within the city limits of Fort Worth and potentialed 3.642 million cubic feet of gas on a .75-inch choke.
  The N.W. Mercado Well No. 1H hit 10,720 feet within the city limits of Fort Worth and potentialed 3.536 million cubic feet of gas on a .75-inch choke.
  The Summer Creek Well No. 5H hit 11,313 feet 10.8 miles southwest of Fort Worth and potentialed 4.355 million cubic feet of gas on a .75-inch choke.
  The TCCD Well No. 4H hit 14,917 feet within the city limits of North Richland Hills and potentialed 6.298 million cubic feet of gas on a .75-inch choke.
  The Duke Unit A Well No. 2H hit 10,997 feet 1.4 miles south of Arlington and potentialed 5.652 million cubic feet of gas on a 1-inch choke. Production is in the Barnett Shale.
Wood County
Energy Production completed the Neuhoff (Buda-Woodbine) Unit Well No. 4ST to 10,010 feet one mile east of Hainesville in the Neuhoff Field. This well flowed with 40 barrels of crude, choke size not recorded. Production is in the Buda-Woodbine.
