The Royall Well No. 2 will be drilled to 6,000 feet 8.4 miles southwest of Anderson in the Long Lake Field. Falcon Resources will drill this well in the J. Madden Survey, A-39.
Freestone County
The John Henderson Gas Unit Well No. 15 will be drilled to 12,300 feet 4.2 miles east of Teague in the Teague (Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated) Field. XTO Energy will drill this well in the J. Ivins Survey, A-316. The well may be drilled in the Teague (Travis Peak) Field.
Gregg County
Burk Royalty will drill the Lucy Well No. 1H to 13,000 feet 5.5 miles southeast of Lovelady in the North Lansing (Lower Cotton Valley) Field. The well is in the H.H. Hagegood Survey, A-109 and may be drilled in a wildcat field.
Harrison County
The Waskom (Cotton Valley) Field will see the Chopper-Cargill (Alloc.) Unit 1 Well No. 3H drilled by Devon Energy to 10,000 feet 7.8 miles northwest of Waskom in the P. Dougherty Survey, A-5.
Houston County
The Eastham State Prison Farm 10 Well No. 1 will be drilled in a wildcat field by Navidad Resources to 14,000 feet 9.8 miles southeast of Midway. The well is in the H. Golman survey, A-434.
Johnson County
XTO will drill two wells in the East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field.
The Rice Unit Well No. 4H will hit 12,000 feet 4.3 miles southeast of Burleson in the J.G. Brown Survey, A-95.
The Wilshire Unit Well No. 2H will hit 12,000 feet 2.9 miles southwest of Burleson in the J. Minett Survey, A-548.
Chesapeake Operating will drill a well in the East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field to 9,000 feet. The Cleburne Propane Well No. 2H is within the city limits of Cleburne in the A. McAnier Survey, A-537.
Leon County
The Gresham Well No. 1H will be drilled to 7,100 feet 4.4 miles north of Leona in the Halliday (Woodbine) Field. This well will be drilled by PMO in the W.M.K. Ball K Survey, A-90.
Nacogdoches County
EOG Resources will drill six wells in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field 3.4 miles southwest of Chireno in the J.A. Chirino Survey, A-17.
The Aclco Unit Well No. 2H and the Aclco Unit Well No. 4H will hit 13,800 feet.
The Aclco Unit Well No. 3H, the Aclco Unit Well No. 5H and the Aclco Unit Well No. 6H will hit 14,200 feet.
The Aclco Unit Well No. 7H will hit 14,400 feet.
The Cameron Minerals SU Well No. 2H will hit 15,000 feet 4.2 miles southwest of Chireno in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. Exco Operating will drill the well in the J.A. Chirino Survey, A-17.
Panola County
Cheron U.S.A. Inc. will drill the E. C. Powers Unit Well No. A 1H in the Carthage (Travis Peak 6400) This well will hit 16,000 feet 6.1 miles southwest of Beckville in the Kane, H J Survey, A-384.
Classic Operating will drill the Werner-Micher Well No. 9 and the Werner-Micher Well No. 10 to 11,400 feet in the Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field. These wells will hit 11,400 feet 4.2 miles northwest of Joaquin in the D. Thompson Survey, A-679. The wells may be drilled in the Joaquin (Travis Peak) Field.
The Taylor Heirs Well No. 9 and the Taylor Heirs Well No. 10 will be drilled by Patara Oil & Gas to 10,250 feet 12.1 miles southwest of Carthage in the Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field in the P. Williams Survey, A-724. The wells may be drilled in the Beckville (Pettit 6800) Field, a wildcat Field, the Itex (Travis Peak) Field, the Itex (Pettet) Field, the Beckville (Travis Peak) Field, the Northeast Fairplay, (Travis Peak) Field, the Carthage (Lower Pettit) Field, the Beckville (Cotton Valley) Field or the Minden (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field.
Sabine County
Chesapeake Operating will drill the East Ingram GU SBN Well No. 1H to 17,000 feet 6 miles southeast of Patroon in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. This well is in the J. Horton Survey, A-114.
San Augustine County
The York SU Well No. 2HB will be drilled to 15,000 feet 4.8 miles northeast of Chireno in the Carthage (Haynesville Shale) Field. This well will be drilled by Exco Operating in the C. Wood Survey, A-310.
Tarrant County
The East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field will see 12 wells drilled to 9,000 feet by Chesapeake Operating.
The Bill Pickett Well No. 2H is within the city limits of Fort Worth in the R.R. Ramey Survey, A-1342.
The Jammer A Well No. 7H is 12.5 miles east of Fort Worth in the J.H. Lucas Survey, A-932.
The Big Daddy Well No. 5H is within the city limits of Fort Worth in the R.R. Ramey Survey, A-1341.
The Hawk TRT Well No. 5H, the Hawk TRT Well No. 6H and the Hawk TRT Well No. 8H are within the city limits of Fort Worth in the H. Bennett Survey, A-138.
The Schwarz Well No. 3H, the Schwarz Well No. 4H, the Schwarz Well No. 5H, the Schwarz Well No. 6H and the Schwarz Well No. 7H will be drilled 1.1 miles west of Crowley in the A. Fernandes Survey, A-506.
The Igor TRT Well No. 1H will be drilled within the city limits of Fort Worth in the P. Anderson Survey, A-32.
XTO Energy will drill seven wells to 12,000 feet in the East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field.

The Johnson Ranch Well No. E 3H is .7 miles northwest of Benbrook in the H. Covington Hrs. Survey, A-257.
The Edwards Benbrook Unit Well No. 14H is the city limits of Benbrook in the J. Cambo Survey, A-362.
The Brentlinger Unit Well No. B3H is 5 miles southwest of Mansfield in the S.S. Carpenter Survey, A-325.
The East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field will see the Johnson Ranch Well No. E4H and the Edwards Overland NWD Unit Well No. 8H drilled by XTO Energy.
The No. E4H is .7 miles northwest of Benbrook in the H. Covington, Hrs. Survey, A-257 and will hit 10,000 feet.
The No. 8H will be drilled to 12,000 feet within the city limits of Fort Worth in the I&GN RR Co. Survey, A-832.
In a lease within city limits of Grand Prairie in the East Newark (Barnett Shale) Field, the Joe Pool Unit Well No. 8H will be drilled by Edge Resources Operating, to 9,000 feet in the C.M. Adams Survey, A-38.
COMPLETIONS
Anderson County
JLA Resources completed the McFarland Trust Well No. 4 to 1,500 feet four miles east of Elkhart in the Anwac Field. The well flowed with 11 barrels of crude, no choke size recorded.
Cass County
Stroud Petroleum completed the Grogan Minerals Well No. 1 to 11,300 feet in the East Linden Field. On an open choke the flowed with 48 barrels of crude. Production is in the Cotton Valley.
Freestone County
XTO Energy completed the Henderson Gas Unit Well No. 27 to 12,095 feet 5.1 miles southeast of Teague in the Teague Field. The well potentialed 2.338 million cubic feet of gas on a 64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated.
XTO Energy completed the J.A. Gilliam II Gas Unit Well No. 33 to 12,703 feet 6.4 miles southwest of Teague. On a 48/64-inch choke this well potentialed 1.527 million cubic feet of gas in the Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated.
Gregg County
On a 18/64-inch choke, the McLendon-Combest Well No. 1 flowed with 236 barrels of crude. Dallas Production completed this well to 9,252 feet in the Willow Springs Field four miles north of Longview. Production is in the Travis Peak Transition.
Harrison County
The Bryson A-Abney, J.K. (Allocation) Well No. 12H hit 16,328 feet 2.2 miles southwest of Waskom in the Waskom Field. On a 52/64-inch choke the well potentialed 4.900 million cubic feet of gas. Devon Energy completed this well in the Cotton Valley.
Penn Virginia Oil & Gas, completed the Bo Furrh Gas Unit Well No. 1 to 10,314 feet 2.8 miles of Elysian Field in the North Carthage Field. On a 20/64-inch choke this well potentialed 972,000 cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley.
On a 17/64-inch choke the Mia Austin Well No. 10H potentialed 7.088 million cubic feet of gas. This well was hit 18,140 feet ten miles southeast of Marshall in the Carthage Field. GMX Resources completed the well in the Haynesville Shale.
In a lease 7.6 miles southeast of Marshall, in the Carthage Field, the Holt-Bosh (Allocation) Well No. 5H was completed by GMX Resources to 18,120 feet. On a 18/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 6.326 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.
Hill County
EOG Resources completed the Haney Unit Well No. 6H to 11,791 feet 2.7 miles northwest of Woodbury in the East Newark Field. On a 64/64-inch choke the well potentialed 2.065 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Barnett Shale.
Houston County
The Mollie Shaw Well No. 29, the Mollie Shaw Well No. 30 and the Trinity State Bank Well No. 12 are 6.5 miles east of Weldon in the Trinity Field. These wells were completed by Houston Petroleum.
The No. 29 hit 2,254 feet and flowed with ten barrels of crude, no choke size was recorded.
The No. 30 hit 2,818 feet and flowed with 28 barrels of crude, no choke size was recorded.
The No. 12 hit 2,820 feet and flowed with 49 barrels of crude, no choke size was recorded.
Jasper County
On a 48/64-inch choke the Temple Inland A41 Well No. 2 potentialed 5.915 million cubic feet of gas. Enervest Operating completed this well to 16,357 feet in the Brookeland Field. This well is 5.7 miles northwest of Jasper in the Austin Chalk, 8800.
Johnson County
The East Newark Field has seen four wells completed by Chesapeake Operating. These wells are 5.6 miles northeast of Cleburne and were gauged on a 1-inch choke.
The Darby Well No. 3H hit 10,432 feet and potentialed 5.972 million cubic feet of gas.
The Darby Well No. 4H hit 11,118 feet and potentialed 5.951 million cubic feet of gas.
The Darby Well No. 5H hit 11,202 feet and potentialed 5.317 million cubic feet of gas.
The Darby Well No. 6H hit 9,615 feet and potentialed 4.857 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Barnett Shale.
EOG Resources completed the Southard Farms (SA) Well No. 7H to 10,455 feet five miles northwest of Joshua in the East Newark Field. This well is five miles northwest of Joshua and hit 10,455 feet. On a 64/64-inch choke the well potentialed 3.972 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Barnett Shale.
Devon Energy completed two wells in the East Newark Field.
The Prospect Co. Well No. 3H hit 11,405 feet 14.1 miles northeast of Cleburne. On an open choke the well potentialed 1.833 million cubic feet of gas.
The Prospect Co. Well No. 4H hit 12,531 feet 14.1 miles northeast of Cleburne with a depth of 12,531 feet. On an open choke the well potentialed 2.853 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Barnett Shale.
Leon County
The Swanson Gas Unit Well No. 1 hit 17,177 feet one mile west of Jewett in the Bear Grass Field. This well was completed by XTO Energy. On a 3/64-inch choke the well potentialed 793,000 cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated.
On an open choke the Easterling Well No. 2H potentialed 21 barrels of crude. Rippy Oil completed this well to 9,200 feet 4.7 miles east southeast of Flynn in the Aguila Vado Field. Production is in the Eagleford.
Limestone County
XTO Energy completed the Byrd Gas Unit Well No. 9 to 13,475 feet 11.6 miles southeast of Thornton in the Bald Prairie Field. On a 17/64-inch choke the well potentialed 800,000 cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated.
Panola County
BP America completed the Ocie Glaspie Gas Unit Well No. 3 to 9,800 feet seven miles east of Carthage in the Carthage Field. This well potentialed 72,000 cubic feet of gas on an adjustable choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley.
On a 15/64-inch choke the J.C. Guill Well No. 8 potentialed 375,000 cubic feet of gas. This well was completed by Harleton Oil & Gas in the Carthage Field to 6,813 feet 8.9 miles east of Carthage. Production is in the Travis Peak-Smith.
XTO Energy completed the Hill Heirs Deep Gas Unit Well No. 1H to 16,440 feet 4.2 miles west of DeBerry in the Carthage Field. On a 18/64-inch choke the well potentialed 10.411 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.
Robertson County
The Glockzin Well No. 1H hit 13,797 feet 1.4 miles northeast of Wheelock in the Ici Field. This well was completed by Rockerfeller Hughes (USA) and flowed with 325 barrels of crude, no choke size was recorded. Production is in the Georgetown.
On a 14/64-inch choke, the Hoyt Gas Unit Well No. 2H potentialed 9,528 million cubic feet of gas. EnCana Oil & Gas completed this well to 20,920 feet 6.9 miles north of Franklin in a wildcat field.
O'Benco completed the TXU 7 Gas Unit Well No. 1 to 12,230 feet 12.4 miles north northwest of Franklin in the Bald Prairie Field. On a 18/64-inch choke the well potentialed 3.415 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated.
The Bald Prairie Field has seen the Templeton Gas Unit Well No. 1 completed by XTO Energy. This well hit 14,030 feet 4.4 miles north of Hearne and potentialed 4.063 million cubic feet of gas on a 10/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated.
EnCana Oil & Gas completed the Hoyt Gas Unit Well No. 2H to 20,920 feet 6.9 miles north of Franklin in a wildcat field. On a 14/64-inch choke the well potentialed 9.528 million cubic feet of gas.
On a 15/64-inch choke the Ely Gas Unit No. 2 Well No. 1 potentialed 2.227 million cubic feet of gas. XTO Energy completed this well to 13,520 feet 4.8 miles northeast of Calvert in the Bald Prairie Field. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated.
San Augustine County
On a 22/64-inch choke the Weeks SU Well No. 1H potentialed 14.412 million cubic feet of gas. Exco Operating completed this well to 18,664 feet 6.3 miles northeast of Chireno in the Carthage Field. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.
Shelby County
XTO Energy completed the Wolfpack (SL) DU Well No. 1H in the Carthage Field. This well is 10.3 miles southeast of Shelbyville and hit 19,717 feet. On a 17/64-inch choke the well potentilaed 11.194 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Haynesville Shale.
Tarrant County
Carrizo Oil & Gas completed four wells in the East Newark Field. The Thornton Unit Well No. 1H and the Thornton Well No. 7H are within the city limits of Arlington.
The No. 1H hit 15,105 feet and on a 20/64-inch choke the well potentialed 5.049 million cubic feet of gas.
The No. 7H hit 11,469 feet and on a 30/64-inch choke potentialing 5.172 million cubic feet of gas.
The Rice LOH B Unit Well No. 12H is within the city limits of Arlington and hit 14,300+ feet. The well potentialed 3.510 million cubic feet of gas on a 18/64-inch choke.
The Rice LOH B Unit Well No. 13H is within the city limits of Arlington and hit 14,056 feet. The well potentialed 3.417 million cubic feet of gas on a 21/64-inch choke. Production is in the Barnett Shale.
Chesapeake Operating completed a new well in the East Newark Field. The TCCD North Well No. 3H is within the city limits of Fort Worth and hit 14,040 feet. On a .75-inch choke the well potentialed 6.557 million cubic feet of gas. Production is in the Barnett Shale.
Wood County
The Sasi Ranch Well No. 4 and the Sasi Ranch Well No. 5ST were completed in the Neuhoff Field by Energy Production Corp.
The No. 4 hit 11,200 feet 2.7 miles southwest of Hainesville and potentialed 384 barrels of crude on a 6/64-inch choke.
The No. 5ST hit 10,100 feet 2.5 miles southwest of Hainesville and potentialed 298.7 barrels of crude on a 27/64-inch choke. Production is in the Woodbine.
