I was interviewed this week for a position for a company who will provide a service for a sub Encana has hired to do some drilling in the Caspiana field, around Frierson specifically. Is this due to leases running out? I was looking for some part time doings but they are busting it 14 on 14 off...

They have to or they are going to be the primary producer that has to re-lease a bunch of acreage.
Its not unusual for companies to sub out drilling work.

The fact that leases are ticking away only adds incentive to get things going faster. Also, some companies are moving in or moving in more rigs, due to a slowdown in drilling elsewhere. There may be some good drilling prices out there that are hard to pass up.
