Exco Resources Rescues Southern Trace from the Clutches of Camterra

Even though this well says Lower Cotton Valley, it is a Horizontal Haynesville well.  It will replace an early Camterra well.

"Marginal", isn't that Camterra's middle name? Or would that be giving them too much credit? LOL! Congratulations. EXCO is a huge improvement.
That is great news for everyone, I hope that an alternate well is drilled soon.

The sign at the well in Sec. 11 by me was changed 2 days ago and lists Exco as the new owner. Today I was informed by Exco that they intend to drill a Haynesville horizontal across the street from me, at the very location that you had selected as your pick of a possible well site. You're good!

Are you sure the well on Overton Brooks was Camterra. I was told it was JW. The rig seemed to be up at least 8 months.
camterra cant evn drill a water well right i have seen there wells and they dont know how to drill a good well
Thank you Jay. I hope your sister gets a new shot at a well also.

In Sec. 1 north of me, the new Camterra well has been flaring for a couple of days also. I think it is Camterra's second try at a well there.
