went yesterday afternoon and they had the choke open to 42%, at lunch today it was at 41%
Wow, RH. what is that now 20 -22mcf ? are these considered testing stages still?
not sure about the chokes, my brother in law told me about the %'s, this is a remotely controlled digital choke.
the operator told me it was flowing 13 million a day when it read 29 and the max flow was around 40 million, which 13M would be about 29% of 40M

Thay are going to build a road out to the section 30 padsite, the were allowed to use the temporary road because of difficulty crossing some creeks, but they literally destroyed the road, and Mr. Martinez locked them out. the sign you saw was telling them to contact him. they have since fixed his road and are using it again
not sure about the testing stages, haven't been able to talk to anyone over there since the first put it in operation, i have a week off so i should be able to catch up with someone and find out more information
i hope they drill in 29 first, but havent heard yet
they already have a future riser for this well site, as the pipeline they just ran is obout 100 feet away, so i'm hoping the will go aheat and brill both wells. i had heard that they were going to spud 1 well may 9 and the other on may 20th, 2010, but they are obviously ahead of schedule, the pad builders said that chesapeake gave them a 30 days to build the pad and road
what is a riser? spud on which section? 29 or 30
basically when they installed the pipeline they placed a connection coming up out of the ground with a valve to which they will attatch the future wells to, this riser is for both 20/29, also the choke readout says 95 today, but you can tell it's not putting out as much gas as in recent days. they had to blow it to the tanks for 2 days because of water and have had the separator stop up also
