Hi

Does anyone know about the composition of the flowback water ? I wonder how much in CO2, H2S is coming back mixed with the flowback water/wastewater.

Thanks,

Marc

The composition of flowback varies based on the length of time the well has been flowing, the formation the well taps, the location geographically within the formation etc. Relatively little H2S is coming out of Haynesville wells, but I don't have a specific number. CO2 is more abundant, but varies considerably from well to well and depending on the stage of flowback.

thanks for the reply.

Do you know where I could get some data about the amount of CO2 in flowback? even if it changes from well to well, it would be nice to have an example.
