Here is a web page format guide to abbreviations that you may run into in reading about Natural Gas production (and occasionally oil) topics on this board. I would greatly appreciate responses that include additions, corrections, or explanations. Although I may have correctly figured out what the words that an abbreviation stands for, in many cases it would be much more helpful to include more explanation of what a term really means. I have included a few common Internet abbreviations but you really should be able to find explanations on the web for those expressions and there a couple of online links included here to help. There are also a couple of links to guides to NG (natural gas) industry terminology that may be helpful.

Nice work, ledlights. I can appreciate the amount of work you put into this very helpful site tool. When I click on your link I find that a portion of your list is not legible as there is text superimposed over text in a number of places.
Thanks Skip,

I have reproduced the problem in Safari and Firefox. It looks okay in Opera (my browser) and IE 8. I imagine that I should be able to fix it in html. In any event I will post it in another format also. Unfortunately the overlapping text seems to occur in the more detailed explanations which are ones I am particularly hoping you will check for accuracy.

ledlights,

Thanks for the abbreviations. I also had overlapping text when rendered in Chrome. I tweeted the HTML code to made the text readable. Here is the tweeted version.

Still a few overlaps but all in all a significant improvement. Thanks, FXEF. I'm opening the file in Firefox.
Skip and FXEF,

I have updated the version I originally posted and have added a pdf version. Neither should have overlap now.
The pdf version is great. When I have a little more time, I'll review it for you. It's a good reference source that I trust Keith will use on one or more of his other websites. Thanks for sharing, ledlights!
Thanks for the terms--this helps considerably!
You're welcome
ledlights - Thank you - Thank you - Thank you - this is great! This should be a tab at the top of the opening page.
Thanks Shaleee,

Keith mentioned he might find a place for it.
