No doubt, our network includes those who are either directly affected or indirectly affected. Many of the members in our network work in the Houston and South Texas area or have family connections in the area. Continue to pray for families and individuals affected by the storm. Pray especially for those who are trapped in flooded homes. Pray for those who are most vulnerable, especially people with disabilities and seniors.

Thank you, Keith.  They need all the help they can get.  The storm is not over and is back out in the Gulf of Mexico picking up more moisture to dump on Louisiana now.  Not finished with Houston and getting ready to do a number on Lake Charles and points north.  It will take years to get over this mess.

Tuscaloosa Trend Sits On Top Of Poorest Neighbourhood For Decades - Yet No Royalties Ever Paid To The Community -- Why??

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
