The 1.1 Bcf/d Haynesville Expansion Project consists of the 40 km, 36 inch Bienville Loop; the 34 km, 36 inch Elm Grove Pipeline and the 121 km, 42 inch Winnsboro Loop; as well as increased compression at the Elm Grove and Haughton Stations.

The Red River Lateral adds approximately 20 km of 36 inch pipe to the system.

The expansions have increased the capacity of the Regency Intrastate Gas System (RIGS) to approximately 2.1 Bcf/d of gas.

The 515 km RIGS pipeline is situated near the Haynesville Shale, Terryville Field and Woodardville Field, where new natural gas supplies are quickly being discovered. The RIGS pipeline has interconnects with the DCP Pelico, Tennessee Gas Pipeline, ANR, Columbia Gulf, Southern Natural Gas, Texas Eastern, Texas Gas Transmission, Trunkline and Mississippi River Transmission.

The Haynesville Expansion project and Red River Lateral were undertaken by joint venture partners Regency Energy Partners, Alinda Capital Partners, and a GE Energy Financial Services affiliate.
