The well is a horizontal well that has been completed and is currently producing natural gas from the Haynesville Shale formation. The potential of the well, or what it is capable of producing, is 7,605 MCF per day. Using $6.00 per MCF, that would be approximately $45,630.00 per day. There are deadlines for reporting exactly how much has been actually produced each month but some companies are not reporting timely.

COMPLETED 8-27-08; GAS; HAYNESVILLE RA; 7605 MCFD; 20/64 CHOKE; PERFS 11,800-16,174' MD; 11,445-11,527' TVD

I would be happy with this well in my section. LOL
Thanks for the infor.Robert
I saw in Sec. 31-16N-14W that Chesapeake drilled another well producing a little over 10,000 MCFD/day. There are numerous other wells drilled in that same township producing between 7-8 MCFD/day as well. 16N-14W looks to be a very sweet spot. Any thoughts or comments anyone???
my husband and I are sec 7 16n 14w........our lease bonus was huge we signed in july for 25k and 25% we have been watchin sonris.....looks like they are getting closer to us!
Yah, it looks like they're making there make way in your general direction. I don't want to jinx it, but from what I hear from a very educated and qualified geologist, there shouldn't be any dry holes in this area. Shale Geo, and please correct me if I'm wrong since I'm not really qualified to make a statement such as this.
Shale Geo,

Do you feel any wells in this area are capable of producing even more than the 10600 MCFD well in 31-16N-14W?
Wow, that is hard to believe. Not that I'm doubting it what so ever. I'm finding out anything is possible with this play.
Shale Geo,

What makes a successful frac?
anybody got a wild guess on what monthly checks could be with this well making approx.45,000. a day for the last 3mon.'s. i tried the royalty calculator ,that can't be right. i wan't believe it till it's in the bank anyhow.
How many mineral acres do you own? How big is the conservation unit? What is your royalty?
Keep in mind that the royalty calculator at pagaslease.com is in million Cubic feet per day, not thousands.
Also....Are you saying production is 45,000/ day or 45,000mcf/day. Please use units.
