Some people in Sabine Parish are being contacted about leasing.  What is a good idea of what terms a landowner should

request or any ideas on current lease offers and if so by what companies.  Thanks

Leasing has been slow due to the mature nature of the Haynesville/Bossier play.  It only occurs sporadically in limited areas.  For that reason your question is best posted in the Sabine Parish Group.  I'll put a link below.  When you do that, all the group members get a email noticing them of your new group discussion.  You're more likely to get useful information from those in the area where new leases are being offered.

I had gotten offers fairly frequently until recently. All, of course, were low ballers.

Tuscaloosa Trend Sits On Top Of Poorest Neighbourhood For Decades - Yet No Royalties Ever Paid To The Community -- Why??

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
